Will Gay Marriage Become Legal in all 50 States?

Posted on 07/09/2012 10:25:43 AM PDT by pinochet

Now that Obama is openly supporting gay marriage, all that it takes is one Supreme Court decision, to make gay marriage legal in all 50 states.

Justice Anthony Kennedy is the conservative Justice who loves to pander to the gay lobby, as we saw in Lawrence vs. Texas. Chief Justice Roberts has proven to be an unreliable vote for conservative causes.

What the American people wish for, no longer matters. The gay lobby is the most powerful lobby in America, and it cannot be stopped. Most of the rich and powerful people driving the gay marriage agenda are not gay themselves, but they see the gay issue as an instrument to destroy Christianity in America.

Once gay marriage becomes legal in all 50 states, conservative Christian Churches will be declared criminal organizations, that violate hate speech laws. The first ammendment to the constitution is now being undermined by hate speech and hate crime laws. In Canada and some European countries, it is a crime to quote Bible verses that prohibit homosexuality.

To the title:

In a word, yes.

It’s inevitable, unless God chooses to intervene.

> Once gay marriage becomes legal in all 50 states,
> conservative Christian Churches will be declared criminal
> organizations, that violate hate speech laws.

Absolutely correct.

That is the goal.

If not to eliminate the Biblical Church, then to push it underground.

Compromising “churches” will have no problems performing “marriages” of men to men, women to women, groups, the incestuous, the bestial, and even the pedophile.

Just Watch.

If Roberts can help Twinkie achieve his gay ambitions, he will rewrite 5000 years of tradition to do it.

Ayn Rand:

“In any compromise between food and poison, it is only death that can win.
In any compromise between good and evil, it is only evil that can profit.”

The perverts keep chipping away.
They are always on the offense - never on the defense.
They never stand to lose any ground they have previously gained.
They only have to win now and then to eventually gain their way.

Those who oppose unnatural sex and homosexualism, who seek to protect Christianity and the tradition, sanctity (and sanity) of male/female marriage have to win every skirmish, every battle, every challenge, every time.

In America today, with the brainwashing that has taken place in the government schools, the fight is already lost - it is just a matter of time.

I would like to add the Catholic Church to your Christian Churches, as they are already under fire. I have actually been waiting for some gay couple to walk into a Catholic Church and demand to be married. When they are refused, there will come the inevitable law suit. So, "gay rights" vs. our Constitutional 1st Amendment rights.

The fact that we have to wonder who would come out on top in the Supreme Court shows how far we have wandered from our Constitutional roots.

It was unfortunate that sodomy got such a pass from Kennedy, because there are good public health reasons to frown upon it, quite aside from questions of policy towards homosexuals which have demonstrated themselves to be a social problem in and of themselves. Quarantines have been called for lesser risks of spreading debilitating if not universally fatal disease.

Still, it seems a bit of a leap from such a libertarian (libertine?) view of personal conduct to that of wishing to turn ancient social standards for what a marriage is, inside out. That has many ugly ramifications including requiring any business that serves “weddings” to serve “gay marriages.”

This is the truth in a nutshell. Although gays may be a minority in terms of numbers, they are a majority in terms of sheer force and political and cultural power, because they are helped by a vast group which is using the “Marriage Equality” mantra as a Trojan horse for their broader agenda.

I have never understood the argument that (gay) marriage could be legal in one state and not in all 50. If that were the case, couldn't a man be married to one woman in California, and another in Tennessee and not be guilty of bigamy? (for example)

Obviously, a marriage in any U.S. state (or territory) is recognized in the other 49+ territories. If you get married in one state, and move to another, you don't file your taxes as a single person, do you?

This whole subject gives me the feeling of utter despair from the very depths of my stomach.

I don’t focus on the “gay” people and how badly we’ve all treated them in their plight for equality.

I think about what they do to each other, what they do to kids, I’m talking sodomizing. I don’t care how you slice it or dice it, it’s sick. It’s a mental disease. If you are religious, it’s immoral, if your of science, it’s unnatural.

I cannot help but think that the country is in it’s decline, much the same other powerful great nations have declined, from internal rot. Or maybe we are in the end times from a biblical perspective.

What your saying is we are fighting a defensive war and that is why we have only been losing ground. Perhaps your right, if so then we must find ways to go on the offenive, to attack the homosexual agenda and take back some of the ground we lost.

I think one of the key ways to do that is to attack homosexuals themselves as a self-destructive diseases that attacks the very foundation of any lifeforms. The ability to reproduce. Make them defend that ground that their “condition” is healthy.

Well that explains a lot about the behavior of “on-air personalities” at all levels, among many other things.

However, WHO are these rich and powerful people, and how specifically do they benefit from destroying Christianity?

Public health reasons? What are you trying to justify laws to suppress homosexuality? Just tell the truth! Homosexuality is a diseases. Anyone who disputes that fact is disputing the defining characteristically of all life which the DISEASE of homosexuality inhibits, reproduction.

Tell it to them strait up, and let them face logic & facts, that homosexuality is NOT healthy for the individual suffering from it. It is as simple as that.

Y’all say we need to go in the attack, well GO ON THE ATTACK! Remind the world that this condition is NOT healthy, its a diseases simple as that.

We are entering the new Dark Ages. many people confuse the dark Ages with the Middle Ages. But the Dark Ages started with the fall of Rome and lasted several hundred years of Barbarian invasion. Today we face a similar invasion of barbarians. It was the Church which brought us through the Dark Ages by preserving the knowledge of the past and encouraging new discoveries. St Thomas Aquinas proved that the universe was ordered and could be studied and understood. The next time you encounter a “progressive” take heart and know that you are facing a barbarian.

“However, WHO are these rich and powerful people, and how specifically do they benefit from destroying Christianity?”

I think those spoken of would be liberals and secular humanists who have power and money in Hollywood, in banking, in the corporate sector, the arts, and other areas. They benefit and would continue benefiting from a society in which polymorphous sexuality, entertainment, drug use, and all forms of adventure would be free from frowning Christians and the general moral stance of regular people. Hence, they benefit greatly also from the high divorce rate, single parent homes, teen pregnancies, etc. - whatsoever breaks down the moral fiber, releases them from censure of judgment.

Of course it will. Then, they’ll start chipping away at the minimum age for young boys to marry... you know, to try and insure that everyone’s civil rights are being respected.

"In Canada and some European countries, it is a crime to quote Bible verses that prohibit homosexuality."

In those places, and for all practical purposes here too, they have succeeded in characterizing any reluctance to embrace their depravity as bigotry.

Totally accurate and worth repeating -

Once gay marriage becomes legal in all 50 states, conservative Christian Churches will be declared criminal organizations that violate hate speech laws. The first amendment to the constitution is now being undermined by hate speech and hate crime laws. In Canada and some European countries, it is a crime to quote Bible verses that prohibit homosexuality.

The sad part is that by then, many Americans will start to realize what their apathy has wrought but it will be too late and impossible to go back.
