For the first time, federal officials revealed Monday that murdered Border Patrol agent Brian Terry and an elite squad of federal agents first fired bean bags -- not bullets -- at a heavily armed drug cartel crew in the mountains south of Tucson in December 2011.
The announcement came as the Department of Justice unsealed an indictment charging five individuals allegedly involved in Terry's death. A sixth suspect has also been charged in a related incident.
The U.S. is also offering a reward of up to $1 million for information leading to the arrest of four outstanding suspects believed to hiding out in Mexico. The names of the four suspects were revealed, and their pictures released, to the public. Police in the US and in Mexico are cooperating and under intense pressure to find them.

Bean bags because Big Sis Nappy-Pants didn’t want another incident where the BP shot a mexican. Already feeling heat for a BP shooting in El Paso of a mexican throwing rocks at them, Nappy-Pants let politics trump common-sense and the BP “leadership” caved and failed Terry and the Agents.
BORTAC is supposed to be a lot smarter than this, but sadly it looks like the BP leadership forced BORTAC to place the life of mexican drug smugglers, the MOST violent type (the type that rob from the cartels for key-rist sakes) over the life of BP Agents.
Holder and (dirty) Nappy-Pants deserve to be in prison for the murder of Terry.
Why was the indictment sealed? They’re just now offering a reward?
I hope these guys realize they are going to get caught. They need to call the news media and tell them how Holder is the mastermind behind this whole thing. He wanted Brian Terry killed since he knew too much. These guys were paid by Holder to kill Terry and then shut up. He would then guarantee they would not get in trouble. But they want to tell the truth about Holder since he double-crossed them by indicting them.
The real damage is that the word illegal is becoming meaningless..
