Mitt Romney still isn't talking about his search for a vice presidential running mate, but he offered some hints in a radio interview Monday about how he would staff his potential White House.
In an interview with conservative radio host Michael Medved, Romney said his potential Cabinet would be made up of people who have had "real jobs." In a shot at President Barack Obama, the Republican nominee said, "My Cabinet will not be filled with academics and politicians alone."
"It would be a very different lineup than the president has assembled. His team is almost entirely void of anyone with any experience in the business sector, in the private sector, that understands how the economy works," Romney told Medved.

“Different from” also requires a “what.”
In this setting, “different than” seems to work OK. It doesn’t sound like a misunderestimated Bushism.
Romney’s cabinet will be filled with RINOs and Moderates eager to reach across the aisle and work with hardcore libs that gave us Obamacare.....
it won’t be filled with anybody if he doesn’t start taking a stand except on platitudes . Who is running this tepid campaign?
It ain’t gonna be filled with anyone if you don’t start running, Ken.
Mary welcome.
Now I say exactly the opposite. :D
Maybe Romney is thinking about playing rope a dope with Obama until fall, then pouring on the power. He wouldn’t be the first Republican to do that. But he’s sure got a large potential audience of folks who would be very grateful to see him slap Obama around verbally for several months. It would energize his base better.
” - - - understands how the economy works - - - “
Yawn - - - . Wake me when the Romney Campaign and Combined Paint Drying contest is over.
Hope he remembers that if he appoints a whole big bunch of Mormons we will get suspicious of his motives (even the Mormons would get suspicious at that point wouldn't they).
(snork)>
Is Romney supposed to name his entire cabinet and VP now, 4 months out? Have other presidential candidates have done this so early in the campaign?
Starting the campaign after the Convention isn't going to work this time.
What the LDS does behind closed doors is a mystery to me. Mitt is a high muckety muck in an organization that has tried hard in the recent past to put on a clean-living charm offensive. I.e. the Osmonds and such. But somehow they forgot to clue in the good bishop not to just fold like a coward to gay marriage in Massachusetts, or to impose adoption rules that many religious groups (for that matter, AFAIK, even clean living Mormons) couldn’t meet. The theology is hokum, I have no doubt. But surely you’d think they’d care about their image.

...and maybe even wash the Siamese cats ...
“In an interview with conservative radio host Michael Medved”
That was good for a chuckle. Snort, snort. Bwhahahahahahahahahaha.
The average American, unfortunately, has the attention span of a gnat. He can get it through their thick skulls just how THOROUGHLY Obama has wrecked this nation and their future, but the fireworks can wait until later, even then he’s going to be competing with football and another season of “Real Housewives”. Decisions, decisions!/s;)
It will be filled with his crony buddies (mostly Mormon like Mike Lee) and that is only if this idiot can win.
even the Mormons would get suspicious at that point wouldn’t they
- - - - - -
No, they will just see it as further fulfillment of the prophecy and coming millennium when the LDS takeover the entire world government and Jesus rules from Missori (no, I am not kidding and yes, I can source that).
Romney should have stated that he would appoint to his cabinet capitalists, free marketeers and those who did paid their federal income taxes, unlike the Obama administration which was filled out with marxists and tax evaders.
Is Romney still running??
Romney won’t be able to get any air time, because by the time he’s decided to start going for it, they’ll all be bought up by Obama or his thousands of pacs.
Yes. In a surprise double-whammy Obama has named Romney as VP on his ticket; Romney is likewise expected to name Obama as his VP runningmate.
More at eleven.
I know that; but the again, we didn't have president/VP tickets either.
You mean like Romney did throughout the primaries? Somehow I doubt it. More likely he's waiting because it would be a waste of money now. Nobocy is paying attention. Besides, there will be plenty of third party ads attacking Obama.
As crazy as this election cycle has been, that wouldn’t surprise me.
He actually used ‘different than’ in a subtly correct way:
