He was. I just turn it off on days like that. I’m ignoring most until after Labor Day. Just hope Mitt toughens up and doesn’t go McCain on us. He has so much material to use against BO that it is staggering. He should address BO’s dishonesty in every speech—but he won’t.

I was not bummed because of what Rush stated, but I am bummed because I think Romney will boot this election, a la Juan McClame.
The powers that be have decreed that we are to be socialist, and that is the only choice we have presented to us.
The battle needs to be fought for the nominee of the party, and that battle has been lost for this cycle.
We will get socialist Red or Socialist Pink, but socialist it will be.
The problem for Mitt is the surrogates who have the smarts and wit to knock the snark out of Obamster just aren't that into Mitt and see him as the ABO candidate.

We never fight another day. We go into the next cycle saying, let’s just get through this and take the lesser of two evils.
Over time, it is a loser.
I ask for $100.00, and you compromise at $25.00. the next year I ask for $75.00 (the rest of my $100.00) and you compromise at $25.00. We do that two more times, and I have your $100.00.
At some point, you need to ask me for $100.00. Compromise does not mean “concede half.” It should mean, Demands cancel each other.

I agree. Mitt was a good CEO, and one one characteristic of a good CEO is the ability to ignore the noise and pick your battles. He’s used to doing that and will be strategic in how he responds to Obama I think.
Rush is exactly on point - it is paramount that Obama be removed, and Romney is the mechanism by which that will be done.
Call it a “MacGuyver Approach to Politics” - sure it would be great to have the ultimate weapon to defeat Obama, but if all you’ve got is a Swiss Army knife, then that’s what you use.
