In some states (e.g. Pennsylvania) the police and firemen were forced to accept minimum wage pay because the municipalities are BK. Coming very soon to California. A buddy of mine for about 20 years just was forced to move from LB, CA and is on the road right now to Colorado. He speaks first hand about gang violence and methheads selling drugs openly without regard to "law enforcement." The entire system is broken. Get ready for camp fema if you live in a high crime area or state because that is coming right our next phony election

JMHO and sorry about that but there is not much help left

“I feel so sorry for California, it is one of the most beautiful states in the country and it’s dying a slow and agonizing death. The problem is the parasites are fleeing to other states and ruining the very politics that allowed their new hosts to thrive.”

So true, but I strongly believe TX will resist the temptation to Californicate itself.

The GOOD news about CA is that if we get a few more of these muni BKs, the trend will accelerate with a violence that will be jaw dropping. If you asked me a year ago when CA will hit rock bottom, I would have said (and did say) ten-plus years. As things are, I think it could happen in 1-2 years. And that’s a plus. Too late for the next election to shift how CA immutably throws its electoral votes, of course, but this lesson will be learned, that’s a guarantee.

Wait; I’ll rephrase that. The pain will be experienced, it will occur. That much I can guarantee. But I can’t guarantee any lesson will be learned.

Well yes, and no.

You (completely) disregard the growing problem:

Americans no longer make things. We have exported our production.

That has masses of problems, and they are growing rapidly.

We need to re-address manufacturing to America. Now.
