every hospital has some kinda program for those that can't pay - and hospitals might send letters - but much of the debt is NEVER paid - sometines its paid $50/month - churches help people - there is a way

and i think tgo said every state has an insurance group for those that are uninsurable - though its expensive

of course it’s bogus there are roughly 300 million of us - 47 million is a substantial percentage of that.

if you go on the assumption that MOST everyone who has a job is insured in some fashion then 47 mill uninsured would imply 47 million unemployed which starts looking pretty odd indeed

my sister is a director of the dallas county hospital - 700 beds - she said NO ONE will EVER have better care than someone in police custody - injured while committing a crime

I passed the DOT physical today. I am trying to get road test by Friday. Could go to Integrad school by Monday. Trying to get a cover driver position to drive a Brown Truck out of Hartford.

there is something going on at that county hospital - the feds descended on them for inspections after some idiot killed himself in the psych er (who has a psych er????)

they found a buttload of little violations and are now making threats to close the hospital (that could never happen - 700 beds disappear in dallas county? where would all the illegals and ‘poor’ go?) - the other hospitals in that complex pay the salaries for the er staff in the county hospital so they can close their ers

but the feds have moved in federal employees that the hospital must pay - the hospital pays their salaries - to crucify them - they are all over every fart - looking for any minor violation

i asked my sister why they would do that - she said they suspect the feds want to take over the hospital as a federal hospital

(and the people of dallas pay for it all - AND - are building them an entirely new complex - one billion was the first estimate)
