DOJ Witness Can Fly to Washington, But Can’t Get Voter ID
PJ Media ^ | July 11, 2012 | J. Christian Adams

Posted on 07/12/2012 5:44:29 AM PDT by SumProVita

The Justice Department actually called a witness in the Texas Voter ID trial today in Washington, D.C. The witness complained she couldn’t find the time to get her parents to drive her to get the free photo ID, but she obviously had time to fly to Washington, D.C., from Texas to testify at trial!

I took it that you were referring to the AP article which was linked to in the Christian Adams article. My comment would apply to AP, not PJ Media.

I see your point, but no, how did Adams miss SumProVita's point ?

Still, its great to see the dems squeal like pigs-

“Read the article. She has a birth cert and student ID.”

Isn’t the student id a photo id?

Hard to believe, pj media is a conservative web site making a conservative point.

The PJ Media author noted the irony but Henry C. Jackson, the author of the original AP story missed (or tried to hide) that fact.

“The DOJ actions shows how important voter fraud is to the dems. Its got them scrambling.”

You nailed it. It couldn’t be more obvious.

Nothing the DEMS do makes any sense. They still have big support by all the idiots in America.

Best Buy does it to catch people who are systematically shoplifting and returning items at different stores. Didn't like giving them an ID, but understand their reason.

Please explain how she was able to get on an airplane without a proper photo ID ...exactly the same kind of ID she would need to vote in Texas?

There is an interesting discussion in the comments section after page 2 of the article at pj. According to some there, you can fly without a photo ID. The author has some comments posted there.

The worst thing is, her testimony may lose the case for the Texas voter id law due to the structure of the case.

Jesse Jackson stated a while back that voter ID laws would reduce democrat “turnout” by 11%.

I don’t think it’s that high, but it would only take 2% to swing an election.

Read “How Evil Works” to understand why people prefer dishonest politicians to honest ones.

I thought you had to show an ID to get into the DOJ building. Maybe that is just AG Holder’s office.....still, how did she prove she was who she said she was?

“Unfortunately, a significant percentage of American voters are also stupid.”

Amen. The expansion of “democracy” throughout the 20th century has made the nation a prisoner of the stupid and dependent. American “popular culture” seems aimed at an IQ range of 80-95, because this represents the most easily manipulated band of consumers. The intelligent people hired to tell politicians what to do, understand mass marketing, and design campaigns and policy at this level, with obvious dolorous results. This trend will be difficult to reverse.

The only reason the democRATs don’t want to show ID is to commit voter fraud.

Indeed they use more props than Hollywood.
