HOLLISTER, Calif.- Hollister police are asking the public to help identify two armed men caught on surveillance video who entered Pacheco Liquors in Hollister Saturday night, demanded money and exchanged gunshots with a store clerk.
The suspects took off after the shots were fired around 11:20 p.m. Hollister Police Officers responded to the call of shots fired and an attempted robbery at 801 San Benito Street.
Police said the two suspects entered the store and one of them pointed a gun at a clerk and demanded money. A second clerk produced his own handgun, and shots were exchanged between the clerk and suspects. No one is believed to have been hit.
Both suspects ran from the store and were seen leaving in a white, 2000, BMW 328i. One suspect was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, about 5 ft. 7 inches tall and about 200 lbs. The other suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and was about 5 ft. 11 inches tall and 150 lbs.
The Hollister Police Department is pursuing several leads and is asking for the public's help with any information. Anyone with information regarding this incident is requested to contact Officer Carlos Rodriguez at 636-4330. Persons wishing to remain anonymous may call WeTip at (800) 78-CRIME. Information provided to WeTip may qualify for a reward of up to $1,000.

Hollister, San Juan Buatista and Gilroy are pretty small towns and largely White and Latino.
Seeing a guy or even two guys in a white BMW is going to be pretty easy to spot.
How much 'range time' do you have dealing with multiple moving targets which may be shooting at you, in an enclosed space, with many obstacles such as counters and shelves?

Oh, and one could have fun and get more range time easily with IDPA competitions. :D
