They are the pride of America - Team U.S.A. - and for the opening ceremonies of the Summer Olympics in London, they'll be proudly wearing red, white and blue, from beret to blazer. The classic American style - shown in an image above - was crafted by designer Ralph Lauren. But just how American is it? When ABC News looked at the labels, it found "made in China." Every item in the uniforms that the U.S. athletes will be wearing at the opening ceremony in London will carry an overseas label.

"First step, get rid of the Unions. "

We've done that and it didn't create any jobs. See post 19.

The original Army berets were rejected after it was learned that they were Chinese made. All berets worn by service members are Made in the USA. I’m just glad they got rid of that piece of trash before I retired.

There are two reasons to wear a beret.

1. To be French.
2. To disguise yourself so you can appear to be harmlessly French until you catch a Nazi and slit his throat.

American special forces get to wear berets in memory of the second group.

The American Olympians should not be wearing berets unless they are planning on marching right behind the German team...

Great answer - hats off to you...

Awful. They are the bridesmaid dresses of Olympic uniforms. The models look like members of an Italian fascist yacht club.

In the 60’s , I’ll never forget my best friend’s Dad buying him a new baseball glove that was Made In Japan . WE were all like : “ Made In Japan ? Bwahahahahaha ! “ From the 70’s onward the Japanese got the last laugh with Toyotas , Hondas , Nissans , Panasonic , Sony , Kawasaki , etc. etc. etc...

Nonsense!! No Italian fashion designer or Italian tailor with any self respect would make a outfit for a Italian Fascist Yacht Club with a goofy ass beanie when they can use a white fedora with a decent sized brim for the classic 30’s style.
