Provocative Palestine-Israel ads at New York train stations rile critics

The ads, which were purchased by The Committee for Peace in Israel and Palestine, show the “Palestinian Loss of Land” from 1946 to 2010. An accompanying headline reads: "4.7 million Palestinians are classified by the U.N. as Refugees."

I think I read somewhere that Israel actually tried to return these captured lands long ago, but it was refused (probably for Palestinian’s anti -Israel propaganda effect) . So, Israel had this land, but didn’t know what to do with it because it was disputed territory. Now, it looks like after all these years Israel is thinking about annexing it. At least the Israelis will develope the land.
