My guess is that he was gay and had Aids.

A search for his name returned an article about the Gay/Lesbian groups supporting Obama.

Would explain the silence about cause of death.

He went to Wesleyan University which was founded by Methodists.

So I have to assume that either this Methodist school cares nothing about the founders of the institution (Armenianist Christians) or that he rejected the teachings of said school so he could support a pro-abortion politician.

In all likelihood, guessing from his name, his mother's name, and his hometown, he was born and raised as a Reform or secular Jew. Having had a bit of contact with Wesleyan and its campus, he wouldn't have been the only Jewish student there. The campus, from my observations, is quite secularized.
