These do NOT look like American Athletes in these ugly looking outfits. They are dressed like the group that leads the athletes into the opening ceremonies. Our athletes ALWAYS come on the scene looking like young, fresh, excited and PROUD Americans getting the crowd all gined up and screaming and hollering for our team. They will NOT get the loud applause they normally get. This is disgraceful and I for one am getting damn sick and tired of everone trying to change this great country and it’s traditions.
Our kids deserve to look youthful as they ARE youthful. What’s with this next time the uniforms will be made in America. They should be REMADE in America NOW.

Looks like the Shadow Govnerment exists and this is proof. They’re dressing us up like dorky Mormons in anticipation of Mitt Romney!

In these tough economic times, the USOC should have gone generic instead of designer. The uniforms would still have been made in China for the same quality at a mere fraction of the cost.
The USOC paid obscene amounts of money to promote the RL label.

Why isn’t this “Obama’s fault”??

...because it sure as hell would be Bush’s fault if it had happened under his watch...

...or maybe Obama can blame Bush for this too!

Shouldn’t they be wearing velvet maroon-colored smoking jackets with Obama’s picture on the chest pocket?

...in fact, shouldn’t we ALL be wearing that???

They are flat out ugly. No USA company would manufacture them and be associated with this design. Glad that they send them to China. Would how many Chinese political prisoners and slaves worked on them. Did RL verify that no slaves were used?

These are USA uniforms not USARL. Get that ass off the front pocket.

Totally stupid, ugly and insulting. Not Obama but Obama’s friend and donor, RL.

“Sad”?

Looks like this is from a typical EuroSocialist Metrosexual photoshopper who despises the American Cowboy image.

Okay, that’s the opening ceremonies for the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo. “SAD” is Yugo for “USA.”

Eh, it’s not *that* bad. The hat’s gotta go, for sure, and the female uniform makes her look 12; hers should be less juvenile: double-breast jacket like the men, not worn partially open, and with a smaller and more tidy-looking ascot. Maybe lengthen the skirt 3-4 inches. Give the men a hat that’s a take on the old “garrison cap” from the army, but worn at an angle. Let the women keep the beret.

And to celebrate the ending of don’t ask don’t tell, US Troops were issued the gayest uniforms ever today...

Those uniforms basically say, “That’s okay. We didn’t want to win, anyway.”

Has the Italian fascist ‘black shirt’ look about it. Symbolic and intentional?
