Abortion advocate: Prayer is Hatred, ‘Threatening’
LifeSiteNews ^ | 7/13/12 | Ben Johnson

WASHINGTON, D.C., July 13, 2012, (LifeSiteNews.com) – An abortion activist who posted pictures of her abortion online has said prayer can be interpreted as hatred, Catholics who are “ashamed” of their church are “inspirational,” and “the very existence of the conservatives” is a fact to be lamented.

Earlier this month the activist, who goes by the name “Jane Young,” posted pictures of what she purports is her own abortion on her website, thisismyabortion.com. The move brought her infamy among those who care for the unborn, gratitude in the pro-abortion movement, and attention on every side.

In an interview with Vice.com, she said after a story about her stunt “was featured on the front page of catholic.org and on some apparently frequented pro-life blogs….staunch Christian emails surfaced and the hate mail began popping up.”

She noted the content of numerous “hate” e-mails was some variant of the message: “Maybe you do not know God or that abortion is a sin? Praying for you!”

“Even hearing that someone is ‘praying for me,’ in this context, feels demeaning and threatening. There’s already plenty of hatred and fear-mongering out there for people to encounter,” she said.

She said such “hatred” was offset by unfaithful Catholics, such as an e-mail from “a Catholic woman who told me that while she is personally pro-life, she is pro-choice for everyone else. She does not judge nor feel it is her business to dictate the choice of others and expressed being ashamed by her religious community and their treatment of others.”

Young added that this woman “was inspirational because she showed me how one can be at peace with their choices and the choices of others.”

The activist went on to hope “people from all faiths can come together to support” abortion-on-demand.

In a later interview, she said Americans who do not share her pro-abortion outlook had the United States “about to plummet backwards into the dark ages.”

“Mississippi is a frightening example what could happen in this country,” she told the website xoJane.com, which has encouraged post-abortive women to voice their support for the procedure.

The state passed a popular law that would shut down Mississippi’s last abortion clinic. But a judge’s fiat has kept the law from being enforced.

Young said the incident befuddled her in “a seemingly progressive country. On the other hand, with the very existence of the conservatives, I am not surprised at all.”

Since Young’s photos went viral, a new website, ThisIsMyAbortion.org, has decided to present another side of the story.

However, even some feminists have criticized the new push for women to share their abortion experiences.

An anonymous woman, who describes herself as a post-abortive public figure, wrote on the website Jezebel.com that abortion pressure groups are “placing the onus on women to sacrifice themselves, their careers, their families, or their safety on the altar of ideology, especially if the woman is the wrong kind of woman or having an abortion for the wrong sort of reasons.”

“All of the risk falls on your shoulders, while all of the reward goes to the movement,” she wrote.

She sounds like she would be a perfect VP pick for Romney for some freepers. After all, we don’t want to be uncompromising and its really just about jobs and spending anyway. Social issues are a loser.

Just yesterday at work I passed by an abortion clinic that was being picketed by three pro-lifers holdling up huge signs with pictures of murdered babies. One of the people from the murder factory was out there mocking the pro-lifers, pointing at them with one hand and pointing at her own head with the other hand doing her finger in circles, calling them crazy. On my way back past there, I yelled out the window encouraging the pro-lifers and then hollered at the murderer that SHE was the crazy one. She flipped me the bird.

She posted pictures of her abortion? Good God Almighty! Forty plus years ago, before Roe vs Wade,I worked as a volunteer in the Pathology Department of a world famous Boston hospital. One day,for reasons I can't recall,I went into the autopsy room. This was a major teaching hospital and,as a result, they saved many different kinds of organs for the purposes of teaching and research.Lining the walls of the room were many containers with different organs in them. One would have hearts, another lungs, another livers, etc. On one the shelves I noticed a very small container, about the size of a mayonnaise jar.In it were several tiny fetuses. As I said this was before Roe v Wade so I assumed that they were stillbirths rather than something even uglier. One of these children stood out to my eye...he/she was about the size of my thumb and yet was a perfectly formed human being...absolutely couldn't be mistaken for anything other than a tiny human being. The child was so well developed that I could see that his/her fingernails needed to be clipped. It's an image that will remain in my memory until my dying day.

She posted pictures of her abortion? I'm now speechless.

These people, and I use the word people loosely, are 'sick'.
Not 'mentally ill sick', but 'Evil' sick.

Though they're likely mentally ill too. But that's another issue.

Some freepers?

Please, do tell.

Which freepers support abortion?

Except for the occasional quickly-zotted troll, I'm not aware of any.

Please, show me where I'm wrong.

“She posted pictures of her abortion? I'm now speechless.”

The pictures show a glass jar with about half a cup of what looks like blood. The intent is to disprove the pictures that show murdered babies and say “see, it's no different that getting blood drawn”.”Just some tissue”.

What she doesn't say is that a 6 week embryo is only 1/4 inch long and the photos are taken too far away to see it. If you zoomed in and the embryo wasn't torn apart by the vacuum, you would see a head, spinal cord and heart that was just beating.

These same clowns would destroy entire towns to protect similar-sized fish embryos. Meanwhile a growing unique HUMAN is just garbage to them if they sense any future inconvenience.

I don't follow organized religion but such people are clearly driven by dark forces, nomatter how you explain it.

I pray and do sidewalk counseling at an abortion mill four days a week. This is one of the reasons that patients/customers and those accompanying them are not allowed to bring cell phones or cameras into the mill.

Matthew:

At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” 2 He called a little child and had him stand among them. 3 And he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

5 And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. 6 But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. 7 Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin. Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come. 8 If your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire. 9 And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.

10 See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven. 12 What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? 13 And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. 14 In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.

You cannot argue with, or try to discuss abortion with people like this. There is no logic in them.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I fear for our nation, and those who will be under the MOST condemnation are Christians who **do** know better. There are two issues that will have **SERIOUS** consequences for out nation:

1) Abortion
2) Sending our nation's children into godless government schools and allowing them to exist. Children who attend these schools MUST learn to think and reason godlessly just to cooperate in the godless classroom.

If Christians, their church leaders, and so-called “Christian” politicians in this nation **really** really** really** wanted to shut down abortion and godless indoctrination of children both of these abominations would end immediately. There wouldn't be 3 pro-life protesters outside of an abortion center. There would be 30 million!

Abortion kills the child. Godless schools attempt to kill the child's soul. Teaching a child to think and reason godless is making him vulnerable to temptation and to sin.)

her own abortion

I don't want to go to her site, but can anyone explain to me what she means? Are they pictures of her committing an abortion, or an imaginary depiction of that woman getting killed by her mother aborting her?

A journey into that woman's mind might start at the examination of her command of the English language.

Also, Limbaugh should probably resume his on-the-air abortions just for her sake.

Yes, indeed you are correct. I do not think it fair to attack fellow Christians because working men and women can't take off and protest like the ows crowd can. They have no jobs but are paid anarchists.

JESUS warned us... we are to be the persecuted... in HIS name... our Kingdom does not reside in this world. Our Kingdom resides in HIS realm.

We can make a difference in this world and we will make a difference. I believe that. I believe that evil will be defeated... maybe not even in our lifetime but GOD gave man Free Will and men and women of good character do exist... and good is ushered into this world by them. Our Founders are a prime example. GOD was responsible for the creation of America... HE only used our Founders as HIS tool. They wrote HIS presence into the fiber of our Republic.

GOD bless America... HE has and HE will continue to... as long as men and women of faith fight for HIS way.

GOD bless you.
