Barack Obamas campaign has been quick to rip Mitt Romney for his association with Bain Capital, which outsourced certain jobs during restructuring of companies. Theres only one problem: many of the very executives who were running Bain Capital during the 1999-2002 period now under media scrutiny donated to Obamas presidential campaign. And Obama was more than happy to cash the checks. The same SEC form from February 2001 that lists Mitt Romney as sole shareholder, sole director, Chief Executive Officer and President of Bain Capital
the controlling person of Bain Capital also lists over a dozen other managing directors of Bain Capital, Inc. -- all of whom were undoubtedly more active than Romney was during this period. And President Obama took money from many of them. Take Joshua Bekenstein. Bekenstein has been a managing director of Bain Capital since 1986. In 2008, he signed Barack Obama a $4,600 check. In 2004, he gave a $50,000 donation to the Democratic National Committee. Thats outsourcing money, plain and simple. And Obama was happy to take it. Or how about Stephen Pagliuca? Last year, he cut a $35,800 check to Barack Obamas Victory Fund. Then he cut another $30,800 check to the DNC. And another $30,800 check to the DCCC. Jonathan Lavine and Mark Nunnelly have both maxed out to Obama already, as well as to the DNC. Lavin was a bundler for Obama, and raised over $100,000 for him. Michael Krupka gave Obama $4,600 in 2008. As weve seen, the leftist media thinks its a disaster if a private citizen, Mitt Romney, made money from an investment company that outsourced jobs to save companies. < click link for the remainder of the text >

I know everybody is sick and tired about politics. I am also. This is important because the Liar-in-Chief has distorted everything in our system and the media has no guts.
Obama is advertising about Romney and Bain. The one thing he never mentions is that he took big money from Bain. The following are Bain Capital people.
In 2008 Joshua Bekenstein as a managing director of Bain since 1986 signed a check for Obama for $4,600. In 2004 he gave $50,000 to the DNC. Obama was happy to take it.
Stephen Pagluica cut a check to Obama's Victory Fund for $38,800. Then he cut another check for $38,800 to the DNC. Then another check for $38,800 to the DCCC.
Jonathan Lavine and Mark Nunnelly both maxed out to Obama and the DNC.
Lavine was a bundler for Obama and raised over $100,00 for Obama. Michael Krupka gave Obama $4,600 in 2008.
This has turned into Obama being fine with outsourcing while taking money from these people. The problem comes when one wants to bash his opponent over being in a company that you claim is bad and then took money from the very same people. In this case Obama was fine with outsourcing while getting a check, but not fine when it comes to political advantage.
For all you doubters, check this out. If you need help, I'll supply you with the necessary info.
The hypocrisy from this administration is unbelievable.
The MSM will NEVER report this.
No matter the direction he turns he keeps stepping on a rake.
Lying now or then PING
Maybe it would get reported if Romney had been the first to use this material. It worked when he went with the dog eating story.
OBAMA ATE DOG!! What the HELL kind of LIFE did he have in Indonesia??? YUK.
According to the latest Gallup poll of registered voters, Romney and Obama are tied at 46%. $100 million dollars down the poop chute and Obama has actually lost ground.
Now he’s doubling down. I don’t think this kind of attack really energizes his base so he’s hoping to sway independents with it. But it appears unseemly for a president to be on the attack like this, esp. in the dog days of summer.
Sure, it distracts from his record, but it just looks petty and too obvious that he’s trying to change the subject.
If they keep this up as they seem wont to do, people will get really sick of it. I guess another goal of his is to just turn voters off so they tune it out and don’t bother voting.
Why would a manager outsource a job? Because it is more cost effective to do so.
To whom is a manager obligated? He is obligated to his shareholders/owners.
What is his obligation? To maximize the value of their equity in the company.
If Bain outsourced jobs, what caused them to do it? They did it because the environment in the U.S. (punitive taxes, extremely costly regulations, Gov't intrusiveness) made it cost prohibitive to have the jobs here.
It is a stupid argument, if the focus is on the businessman's attempt to do the very thing he is in business to do!
It would make a great 30 second spot...
"The President continues to lie about my relationship with Bain and wants to paint me as out of touch...Mr President took campaign donations from the very company he claim out sourced american jobs...Return their donations today Mr. President...so you can't look hypocritical.."
Jobs are not outsourced.
The uncompetitive are dropped from unemployment rolls because the summation of capital and labor can not operate at a profitable level.
At some point, it is simply not possible to be employed in America and make paint brushes. Paint brushes can be made cheaper and most likely better elsewhere.
