Government just can’t tax and spend enough to solve the Democrat/Keynesian Liquidity problem, and then create enough jobs too...

FNS

Gov. Scott: We can’t afford it! [re: Medicaid expansion]

Lib Response: Use a credit card. Tax the rich. Raise tobacco tax.

[Govt programs never look at the results or impact. The intent of a program looked good on paper, so that is all that matters. As Gov. Scott said, when the FED runs out of money for the program expansion, they will dump the responsibility (and funding) onto the states.]

My guess is that Romney is saving a lot of his firepower until closer to the convention and the announcement of a VP which will be huge. He’s between a rock and a hard place. If he comments on anything the DBM will twist and turn it upside down. My take is that we help him as much a possible right here and on talk radio starting with Rush.

Mitt has to get off the canvas. The ref is counting him out.

Romney needs to get his head and organization back in the game and get on offense. He has a target rich environment but is allowing himself to be painted and framed by the aggressive Democrat lies.

If he doesn't and is knocked out early, is it too much to ask the cringing GOP Establishment wise up and allow an open floor vote at the GOP Convention? After all, Romney hasn't been officially picked yet and none of the other candidates have "quit". They just suspended their campaigns.

Why go into the final stretch with a thoroughly crippled horse who is sure to lose? It would be a masterstroke to change candidates at the last minute and go on the attack! The Dems would be left holding their deflated Romney bag and our base would be energized!

You hit it Tom. The election should be about runaway/reckless spending that will, if it has not already, break the bank for us and our kids.

Thanks RG.
Brit Hume is acting like these phony polls are Gospel when every one has been proved completely wrong in election after election. When are they going to start dismissing them for what they are?

Excellent synopsis. Especially, when the left has nothing on our candidate and are just salivating to get something on him, anything, even if they have to lie and make it up.

Great catch bray.Sad but true about polling.
They don’t straighten out until 72 hours before the election. Then those polling organizations who don’t want to be remembered as ozero shills start mysteriously getting it right. I think Rasmussen my be correct, not really sure.

My thoughts exactly. The polls are frequently “sample weighted” with more RATs being interviewed than anything else.

Karl Rove is hard to listen to. They act like being a Capitalist is a crime and needs to be defended. If they had any stones they would say Bain was a great company that reorganized some companies that became stronger and using overseas labor is common in a world economy.

Why does our side run away from every charge like we have to convince the Dems to vote for us and ignore the Conservatives?

Brit Hume and Karl Rove defe nd Mr. RomneyCARE
on his BAIN misinformation by defending him.
Rove has his white board counting the “attacks” on Mr. RomneyCARE.
Great defense.

WHAT ABOUT OBAMA, you idiots?????
When is anyone in the GOP or GOPe going to
discuss his treason and malfeasance with substance?????

The other issue regarding Romney’s alleged “non control” of BAIN
was never brought up.

Joe Trippi points out that Team Romney was unprepared for this.
Hume says he “LEFT the company” in 1999, but ignores both the lack of preparation
and Mr. RomneyCARE’s obvious disingenuity.

Joe Trippi points out Mr. RomneyCARE is not responding,
but is “flat footed”.

For support of Mr. RomneyCARE, Hume shifts to Tokyo Rove the RINO.
Rove cites the Washington Post in support
of Mr. RomneyCARE without exact citation or source.

Rove says this is “Chicago politics”, attempting to strengthen
his lame defense of the defenseless absent loser.

Rove calls Obama “a cheap Chicago pol” but says nothing to support it.
He defends Mr. RomneyCARE because the defense of the indefensible
is not the main flag of the GOPe.

RINO Hume ends with pointing out that what is needed is a
new “Etch a Sketch” moment so that Obama won’t define
Romney “indelibly”.

What's interesting to me is all these former adversaries of Romney now campaigning for him, but you never hear a word they've said!

In other words, Bachmann, Cain, Gingrich, Palin, Perry and Santorum are all campaigning for Romney, but the drivebys aren't reporting what they say...

I think a lot of what we're getting frustrated about is due to the driveby media, not necessarily the campaign.

Nevertheless, I would love to see Obama get pummeled! There's so much ammunition—the TRUTH—would certainly hurt him. But I don't know if I'm not hearing it because Romney isn't saying it, vice the media simply being a megaphone for Obama and his crew while ignoring Mitt and his.

What do you all think?

when this comes up all they need to say,”Well, guess we aren’t asking why GE outsources, even after getting taxpayor money? Are you saying Jeff Immelt should be questioned too?”

At some point our side has to say they don’t believe the polls and have been weighted to help the Dems for so long they have no credibility. We have seen in elections they are generally off 10-15%.

Dems on welfare are the only ones who have time to answer them and Repubs don’t want to be identified due to vilification. How can you trust that kind of bias?

I think the campaign hasn’t even begun.

****

Karl Rove just made a good point about Romney’s messaging this summer. Paraphrase: if Romney puts out all of his plans now, by September it will be called “old news” and ignored.

****

I believe that Romney knows how to pace the release of “message” for maximum effect on potential voters.

Once again, thanks for reporting.

Interesting that the Fox Romney Allstars think he needs to be defended here. I expect to see something happen this week.
