Exclusive PARADE Interview With President and Mrs. Bush (Babs mocks Sarah Palin again)
Parade ^ | 7/13/12 | Parade

-snip-

Thoughts on the “no new tax” pledge from Grover Norquist.

PARADE: During your presidency you gave in on your “no new taxes” pledge. You’ve been vindicated in many respects for that decision. I wonder how you view the “no new tax” pledge from Grover Norquist that seems to be requisite for GOP political candidates.

GB: The rigidity of those pledges is something I don’t like. The circumstances change and you can’t be wedded to some formula by Grover Norquist. It’s—who the hell is Grover Norquist, anyway?

BB: I think he ought to go back to Alaska. [laughs] Don’t quote me! [A reference to a comment Mrs. Bush made about Sarah Palin in a 2010 interview, in which she said, “I think she’s very happy in Alaska—and I hope she’ll stay there.”]

This is the only way, I won’t vote GOP:

If the GOP purposely turns away from Palin.

Keep your mouth shut if you cannot say anything good.

Palin is who most people on this site wanted, from the beginning.

Great post, dead on the money Vet. Agenda setter, policy maker, lobbyist and overall heavy hitter for the American homeland based muslim/islam terrorist front group, C.A.I.R., this piece of sh&t norquist also sat on the National Rifle Association’s board for years and the NRA knew FULL of his muslim/islam enabling anti-American activities ALL of that time!!! Norquist had Bush’s ear on all things muzzie as you say. Norquist is pure evil.

I have always thought Bush 1 was a democrat. Never trusted him. Now his wife. It seems they are all in together to destroy America.

Who could dislike what Sarah Palin says.. Palin is usually not hyperbolic..
Barbara Bush betrays the extreme RINOism of the Bushes..
The whole family.. and lends proof that Bush Jr. in his second term was competing with democrats on who could spend the most..

The Bushs are not conservatives.. and possibly stealth enemies of the United States.. in league with the CLINTOONS and Zeros Cabal..

As is Romney....

I’m embarrassed by the fact I ever set foot in and visited the Bush Library in College Station back in the 1990s.

Between George W’s single-minded obsession for amnesty and Barbara telling Palin to stay the hell up in Alaska, I’ve lost every shred of respect I once had for the Bush family. Bunch of big-government, blue-blood, elitists who have total disdain for conservative mid-America.

When she says Billy Jeff is like a son, I keep waiting for some journalist to ask Barbara if she thinks Juanita Broderick is a liar. But, I think I'll be worm food before that happens.

Unless Jackie Kennedy was pro-life, I can't think of a First Lady in my lifetime that was. In real life, I don't think there are that many married couples who are at odds on that issue. It would be a show-stopper for me, but for Republican presidents, it's 100% at odds. Strange.

She considers Bill Clinton to be another son

Well George and Bill sure worked well together on the Mena Airport.

As a Texan, I will not speak disrespectfully to or about a lady.

Hey, Babarra, shut the h#ll up you useless senile old cow.

PS Yes, that means I don’t consider Babs to be a lady.

Careful ‘gator, you are gonna get all of the Bush toadies in a twist if you bring up the Billy C. and Daddy Bush Mena Airport thing and the little, ahem, ‘import (heh-heh) business’ they were running out of there in the mid 1980’s. Well, maybe not. Most of ‘em don’t have a clue about what we are talking about.....and they probably would not believe it any way if they did.

They are bitter because we did not support Globalist Daddy Bush for a second term. That probably humiliated them.

That’s okay. They have to spend the rest of their life watching the Tea Party pick off Rinos and put in conservatives until we have them in a straight jacket again.

These are Whigs.
Tea Party types are Jacksonian Populists.

It’s a big tent, but noisy.
