How do you solve a problem like Sarah? Romney misses out in stand-off with loose cannon diva
The London Daily Mail ^ | July 16, 2012 | Daniel Bates

Posted on 07/16/2012 1:40:59 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

She is the Tea Party diva who lit up the 2008 Presidential campaign.

But four years later Mitt Romney is facing one of the most vexing questions of his campaign: what to do with Sarah Palin?

In an increasingly uncomfortable stand-off, he has not invited her to next month’s Republican national convention whilst she has failed to give him her full backing.

Palin has also not appeared with the Romney on the campaign trail and prefers to use her Facebook page to bash Barack Obama.

The result is that the Republican presidential candidate is left without the endorsement of a woman who can energise his base in a way he can only dream of.

The former Massachusetts governor - who is so emotionally cold friends reportedly call him ‘Tin Man’ - is facing nagging questions about how he can appeal to the Tea Party which still feels he is a left wing flip flopper.

Palin would fill that role but would constantly be in danger of going rogue - and not sticking to the carefully crafted scripts....

I will vote in November- not for Romney, but against Obama.

Sorry; but this is not possible.

One canNOT vote AGAINST anyone.

They can ONLY vote FOR someone.

(But it WOULD be kinda cool to have a system where we COULD enter a NEGATIVE vote for the guy (gal) we don't like; thereby making the total go DOWN for them!)

Somehow, for whatever reason, God seems to have ordained that Barak Obama, the Socialist lover of government tyranny and hater of our free Constitutional Republic would be elected TWICE.

Jereboam and Reheboam!

Any vote cast for a third party candidate, any write-in, anyone staying home and refusing to vote is casting a vote for Obama.

I wonder how that would work out if it were PROVEN beyond doubt that Obama is not who he says he is. Democrats would realize their party is crooked and might be more inclined to vote third party than GOP. Republicans can’t help but wonder why their party is not investigating Obama’s past and many would eagerly support someone who would. If a third party candidate were to push Obama on his past, I think they would win in a landslide.

Wonder what the straw was that finally broke the camel’s back?

This was the thread and it seems to be Yam complaining about non-Romney supporters being insulting, while he never insulted anyone while at the same time insulting everyone who didn’t agree with him.

The fun with Yam starts about post 312 to about 475. It was a silent zot.

For those of you who will not vote for Romney, a few words to you. If you don’t think we can overcome the tyranny of punks like oboma and holder, you are a wimp and frankly you sound more French than American.

- - - - -
Oh we can overcome that tyranny, just not with Romney. Romney will keep the status quo.

We are the ones fighting, not those like you who roll over and support a wimp statist like Romney.

It is those of you who think Romney will be any different that are the wimps and more French than American.

However, in searching the universe so far no livable planets have been found other than earth. We seem to have one of a kind. But then, Joseph Smith couldn’t have known that at the time he wrote his prophesy.

Scientists keep searching for other planets that could sustain life. Most of what they find are probabilities that there once was water or some other theory, but no hard evidence so it is mostly science fiction at this point.

Oh, I know that, but that doesn’t matter to them. Smith and Young taught there were men on the moon who dresed like Quakers and a later Prophet Joseph Feilding Smith said we would never get to the moon.

New quote for you Elise...

We will never get a man into space. This earth is man’s sphere and it was never intended that he should get away from it.”

“The moon is a superior planet to the earth and it was never intended that man should go there. You can write it down in your books that this will never happen.”
- Apostle Joseph Fielding Smith at stake conference in Honolulu, May 14, 1961

We sit on Romney's behind and pound away at him to make sure he hears the word of We The People.

I haven't seen to much of the "sit on romney's behind and pound away" in week's prior to this, so I don't expect to see it in the future. For the most part it is just a talking point to make conservatives feel better.

Most Romney supporters I've seen get really upset when you point out Mitt's weak responses the last few weeks. They tell you things like, "Shhhhhh....they'll think we're not behind him." In other words, he can get away with anything, and the "pound away" crowd isn't pounding anything but sand. They are silent.

For example, when he came out in favor of gay couples a few weeks back, everyone silently stood by and wrung their hands. Then he made it worse. He said those gay couples should at a state level BE ALLOWED to adopt kids. Now that's a conservative position, isn't it?

How many flooded his phones, email, website with threats to leave? How many silently waited for the lamestream media to let it go quickly away?

No one was pounding away, itssme.

Thank you very much, naut. I was able to track through the history myself and clocked along to find yam’s insane finale. YIKES!

Yammers had to be sparring for an audience elsewhere, imho. Maybe not, but the only other alternatives for him from that one would have to include a rather masochistic one, or else something akin to pulling legs off grasshoppers.

Stunning behavior there, banging one’s own head into a solid wall with such vigor, while bashing and accusing the “paralegals” around here trying to administer aid and try to get him to stop.

You guys had entirely too much fun bidding yammers “adieu”. Still chuckling here. I was up all night reading thru the fun!

Thank you very much, Elsie. I was up all night reading through the novelette of yammers departing encore of his encore, of his encore, of his encore, endlessly banging his head into the wall repeatedly, all but begging to be booted.

The silence had been so peacefully deafening all at once that I had to inquire.

Thanks for the reply.

“I do not understand the headline. There is no problem with Sarah (Palin), unless you are a liberal.”

That’s Mitt’s real problem — he IS a liberal!! He once said in an interview in Massachusetts that the only thing Republican about him was his registration.

I doubt he’s changed much.
