How is Romney “hiding” on the Bain issue?

He has put forth detailed explanations which the NYT has repeated in its story of why his name appears on the SEC documents.

What more would you have them do? He has even directly contacted the networks and explained, quite forcefully I thought the real facts behind the Bain issue and going so far as to call the Obama claims “lies”

Have you ever owned a business? I have and when I left it (turned it over to my son) I remained on as an officer of the company and drew a salary.

I also had nothing to do or say about the day to day operations of the company.

So, what exactly is your experience in this area?

So now it was not "day to day" decisions?

What about CORE decisions?

Oh what a tangled web we weave,

If you haven’t converted an Obot into a Rombot you have no room to talk.

It really doesn't matter who is running the company if you are the OWNER.

An "ownership interest" means something ~ and only a totally mindless twit would imagine it doesn't.

Do not be caught in the New York Times trap!

The title of this article could be “Romney Wades Into Raging River to Rescue Basket of Drowing Kittens” and some people here would still find a way to savage him.

He was not in charge of Bain Capital at the time under question, so he wasn’t making any decisions, CORE or otherwise. THAT has been established by the people at Bain who were actually the ones making the decisions.

Granted, I don’t watch much of the news, but I haven’t heard of Romney ‘washing his hands’ of Bain. He’s acknowledged that when he was there, he ran Bain, but when he wasn’t he didn’t. Obama is trying to say Romney did something, when he didn’t; Romney is just setting the record straight, with the help, I might add, of some in the MSM who have actually LOOKED at the data, rather than repeat the DNC talking points.

Since. Mr. RomneyCARE is a known liar who takes both
sides of every issue, and he owned 100% and was
paid $100,000, where is your proof he had no control?

Or just people he PAID to say so?

Mr. RomneyCARE wants both sides of every issue,
and wants to be a VICTIM, too. Sorry, it won't play anymore.

Weasel words ~ Romney himself said he maintained an "ownership interest" in Bain in that period and he said he could have made decisions ~ but he didn't.

That's not exactly the same as being totally divorced from Bain.

Why do you have such difficulty sticking to Mitt's own dialogue on the matter? Is it because you too want a candidate who is better than he really is?

Are you cross eyed or standing on your head? Your comment is opposite of what Diogenesis is doing.
Or is it that you can't handle the truth about romney? You do want to know what you are putting your stamp of approval on, don't you?

Born Cross-Eyed

ABO, since I'm a patriot and not a RINO, I'm all in for Romney/Ryan, as is Sarah Palin.

Did you ever stop to think I don’t care who you vote for?

I’m a PATRIOT and I don’t vote for the godless or LIBERALS.

Now I trust that is easy enough - even for you - to understand.

Compromisers have a hard time understanding why everyone isn’t like them!

Just accept it, don’t try to understand - it’s over your head.

If you are for Romney you are a RINO (by one definition).

Your cited definition is an erroneous semantic construction. If either of us is a RINO it would be you for refusing to support the Republican ticket (that is if you are even a Republican; I assume you are not a real Republican).

The thought never crossed my mind; I assume the posters on FR are always trying to sway a vote besides their own.

I’m a PATRIOT and I don’t vote for the godless or LIBERALS.

I suspect you do compromise and vote for the godless, at least in the eyes of the more fundamental/orthodox. What is/are the only true church(es) and how do you filter that standard across the candidates ? Did you vote for Reagan (the DoC), Jimmy Carter (the S Baptist), John Anderson (EFCA), or none of the above ?

Now I trust that is easy enough - even for you - to understand.

Compromisers have a hard time understanding why everyone isn’t like them!

Sure, where do you buy your food, do your banking, buy your car, buy gas for your car ? Do you even know which churches that FR includes by virtue of its large audience ? How do you even cope with all the compromises you make and still have the breath to post (we know you are not preaching the Gospel here) ?

Look, here's how Republican I am ~ I was FIXING voting machines in Naptown to show a corrected Republican vote when I was but a wee lad.

Then, there's the hereditary part ~ some ancestors convicted of freeing slaves, yet others provided the apple orchard to bury slave catchers (from what seems to have been the whole Midwest), others involved in Bleeding Kansas shooting dirty little slavers, others in the regular war got to burn everything from Franklin Farm to Richmond Virginia.

That's IN at the very foundations.

Where was your Romney bunch back then?

I don't think anybody could catch them (if you know what I mean). Then they ran off to Mexico.

No way that boy was raised up around honest Republicans, nor you either for doubting my credentials.

Romney was a serious contributor to Democrats running for political office ~ that makes him a RINO for life.

I assume the posters on FR are always trying to sway a vote besides their own.

FR is 'GOD, Family, Country' - and there are imposters who do NOT put GOD FIRST. So these imposters will sway any who they can sway to the godless. Like who Romney who is an imposter to the GOP - a liberal godless cult leader. EVERYTHING what the GOP and FR is NOT about it.

I suspect you do compromise

You NEED to suspect to fit your agenda as you want others to be just like you. God is ALWAYS FIRST with me.

Sure, where do you buy your food, do your banking, buy your car, buy gas for your car ?

What does it matter? God ALWAYS leads the steps of His righteous.

"If the LORD delights in a man's way, HE makes his steps firm."

"The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives".

(we know you are not preaching the Gospel here)

You already shown WHAT and WHO you DON'T know.

FR is a political internet site where the most active posters are usually people who insult those they cannot sway or intimidate, sometimes with liberal profanity. I have seen very very few godly posters, and they never have to claim that mantle because it is self evident in their online behavior.
