I’m not sure you can sustain even a WalMart store with that customer base.
Wouldn’t surprise me if that location eventually closes, perhaps replaced with a dollar store, and then ultimately to become just another abandoned strip shopping center.

Yup. It really depends on the neighborhood. I’ve been to Walmart on Crenshaw Blvd (homey country) and West Adams (middle class mixed)in L.A. and it’s like night and day. They’re both just 15 minutes apart and there’s an obvious reason why no sane person shops at Crenshaw unless you really..really need something quick.

I would be so embarrassed to be a member of a political party that has people like these as members.

There was a Wal-Mart in central Alabama (I’ll leave out the town’s name), which opened up...provided roughly 300 full-time and part-time jobs for the local area, and immediately had problems with internal and external theft. They brought in a higher number of security people than a normal Wal-Mart, but even that tactic didn’t resolve the rate of theft. So around three years after they opened in the town...they shut down. The comment to the public was that it wasn’t making the anticipated sales expected....but the truth was....they couldn’t marginalize the theft going on. This is one of the towns in the south that you can come across, with a population of 20k residents within the city itself....but does not have a Wal-Mart.

Yes you did. One thing was that they destroyed the anti-shop lifting scanner at the store’s enter so there’s no telling how much merchandise walked out the store with them.

Good decision. There is no way in hell that I would have allowed my kids to attend a school exposing them to this trash. Public schools are bad enough without this foolishness.

I am sick and tired of the incrementalizing toward Communism and the accompanying acquiescience to a totally backward, destructive, arrogant black “culture”.
Nasty, brutish and short is the confrontation needed to clear the air of this decades-long downward spiral.

The ultimate agenda is not Communism or fascism, it is one world’ism’ run by the power brokers now manipulating the communism and fascism to reach a desired point of chaos where the surviving sheeple will be for deliverance from the chaos. Of course the world population will need to be ‘reduced’ in order to maintain what the deliverers offer as their ‘final solution’. It is not a secret, it is just not aligned with the normalcy bias currently being aired to the masses through Obama and Romney. Those two are selected because they are known to be eager to ‘work for someone else’, and sadly, that someone else is not We The People.
I work TLE at that Walmart. It’s the oldest Walmart store in Jacksonville. The neighborhood has changed quite a lot since it first opened. The area was a working, middle-class neighborhood 20yrs ago. There’s still some of those people around, but they’re few and far between anymore. Especially after 9:00 or 10:00 at night.
Sad really... used to be red-neck heaven in there :(
