One of the country's oldest civil rights groups says President Barack Obama may have a tougher time winning at least three battleground states in November should black voter turnout fall 5 percentage points or more below the record levels that helped to put him in the White House.

Black turnout of 64.7 percent was a significant factor in 2008, and African-Americans are considered solidly behind Obama. But having achieved the milestone of electing the nation's first black president, those black voters who support him may be less motivated to return in droves again, the National Urban League said in a report yesterday.

Black unemployment is up, property values are down, the VAST majority of are not doing better, and Obamugabe is running around telling folks MORE government is the solution.

Blacks have been hurt by Pelosi-Reid-Obama-nomics more than anyone. Or much more than those whites "clinging to their guns and Bibles". Median black household wealth won't buy a 10-year old Toyota Corolla. There is a "murder a day" in Chicago and New York. Overall black unemployment is nearly twice that of whites. And blacks still overwhelmingly support Zero and the Democrats in congress.

That's easy. Thanks to the democrat party, about 80% or more of blacks choose to be ignorant and racists. Voting for, or sticking by their own is what they do, regardless of ANY circumstances. Until more of them start actually thinking for themselves, and reject wholesale a large part of black culture and the black victimhood attitude, this is what they will do, unfortunately. See Marion Barry as a good example or analogy, or most black run cities in the United States.

Things like, are they better off, are they more free, are they less oppressed, do they have jobs, etc, never enter into it.

One thing has become clear over the past 3.7 years and that is... one thing that the black community loves more than large government programs that are only for minorities, grants, welfare programs, subsidized housing and free health care... all financed by somebody else’s stash... is the color of their skin. They will vote for obama in the same percentages as before and they will do it because he is black. They have said it many times in the media. Who are spike lee, morgan freeman, lawrence fishburne, colon powell, whoopi goldberg, chris rock, sheila jackson lee, maxine waters, louis farakhan, al sharpton, jesse jackson and others going to vote for? If they do not stay home... and they will not... neither will the community as a whole.
