The obama file, Frank Marshall Davis, FBI FILES
The Obama Files ^ | unknown | The obama file

Obama's Communist Mentor Accuracy in Media has an in-depth profile of a leftist who influenced Obama during his high school years. In an article entitled, "Obama's Communist Mentor," Cliff Kincaid identifies a member of the Communist Party USA, who has been influential in Obama's life and education, Frank Marshall Davis, who was a communist -- and born in Kansas.

Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his "poetry" and getting advice on his career path. But Obama, in his book, "Dreams From My Father," refers to him repeatedly as just "Frank." Frank is the black communist writer now considered by some to be in the same category of prominence as Maya Angelou and Alice Walker.

I just mentioned Joel Gilbert’s new film “Dreams From My Real Father” in another thread. I don’t believe all of the puzzle pieces fit exactly as Gilbert put them together, but anyone who wants to know more about FMD ought to watch it...and then get others who haven’t been following this case to watch it.

That's a roger => Pop ... an excerpt:

Pop takes another shot, neat,
Points out the same amber
Stain on his shorts that I’ve got on mine, and
Makes me smell his smell, coming
From me;

Just who is 0bama's "Pop?" ... Jack Cashill

There are some who make a pretty good argument that Frank Marshall Davis wasn't just Obama’s mentor, but was Obama’s actual birth-father.

Frank is the black communist writer now considered by some to be in the same category of prominence as Maya Angelou and Alice Walker.

Which is to say "manufactured prominence". You'd never have heard of either poetess based on the merits of their work. They stink and are pseudo-intellectual. The reason you even know of them is because of the content of their poetry/writings.

White guilt brought them to prominence. They speak the Left's language.

Frank Marshall Davis:

“Take it then
from the careless fists
of the money drunk.
Place it in the reaching hands
of the little people.”

“Your tales
about Jesus of Nazareth
are a no-go with me.
Christ
is a Dixie Nigger.”

Obviously, he was a regular Walt Whitman, a Marxist Shakespeare.

And his protege (son?) used identical 'poetic' form. See post #9.

Frank Marshall Davis was certainly no Shakespeare, nor even a Walt Whitman (although Whitman was likely a bisexual, and definitely anti-Christian, and a political radical, just like Davis). If Davis was not the President's father, the fact is that he was a good friend of Stanley Dunham, Obama's maternal grandfather and a possible Communist. Davis was in Hawaii at a critical time in the President's boyhood, his teen years. Like Davis, the Dunhams were Kansans who rejected their mid-American roots and Christian upbringing (Baptist and Methodist) for the fantasies of Marxist and progressive utopianism. They left Kansas for the West Coast (Puget Sound area of Washington and Hawaii) and associated with leftist circles in both states.

Both Stanley Ann Dunham and Barack Obama were "red diaper babies", not from the stereotypical background of such families, usually based in the New York area and often of Jewish background, but apostate from Judaism. However, there is, or was, an element of native-born Americam radicalism in the Midwest and West, as evidenced by the IWW movement in the early 1900s, a precursor to the Communist Party USA. The Socialist and Progressive Parties received a substantial vote total before the Red Scare of 1919 and crackdowns on native-born radicals. I suspect research of the deep backgrounds of Frank Marshall Davis and the Dunhams would reveal family ties to the radical movements of the late 19th and early 20th Centuries. One hint is that Stanley Dunham's father was named Ralph Waldo Emerson Dunham, after the transcendentalist poet, an odd name for a Kansas Baptist in the immediate post-frontier era.

My favorite Obama poem:

UNDERGROUND

Under water grottos, caverns
Filled with apes
That eat figs.
Stepping on the figs
That the apes
Eat, they crunch.
The apes howl, bare
Their fangs, dance,
Tumble in the
Rushing water,
Musty, wet pelts
Glistening in the blue.

Ain’t dat beeyootiful?

Do you think "Pop" was written by Frank Marshall Davis?

Fits with Ayers writing Dreams.

Who knows? He died in '87, when was it written? Never mind. I don't care. I pretty much hate poetry (except for my own brilliant "Ode to Toast") so I'm a bad one to ask.

Its funny how Obama agents love to talk about him being "a brilliant writer". One thing I do know...writers write. Outside of college, are there any actual examples of his genius? As far as I know, he has two ghost-written books and some bad poetry. He's a "writer" the way Kim Jong Il was a master golfer and Putin is an "outdoorsman"..

p.s. FWIW, 'Pop' was published in 1981 (could have been written anytime before that)

“If Davis was not the President’s father, the fact is that he was a good friend of Stanley Dunham, Obama’s maternal grandfather and a possible Communist. “

Question for you: If Obozo’s grandmother was a leftist too, then why was she a bank president?

Usually Marxist don’t go into the banking business, so they?

Are you saying that there have never been leftists in the financial industry? For starters, we can look at Herb and Marion Sandler, founders of World Savings Bank, who paid $11 million to ACORN. And have you ever heard of George Soros? Going back a few years, we have the liberals in the Rockefeller financial dynasty, notably Nelson Rockefeller. Or from an earlier time, Alfred Milner, a director of Midland Bank and a financial supporter of the Fabian Society, which promoted socialism in Britain through gradual means.

Despite the popular association of banking with political conservatism, Wall Street financial interests contributed more to Obama than McCain during the 2008 election.

Good answer. Thanks. You are quite right, of course.

Can you believe that we have a Marxist mentored, leftist president willingly destroying this nation and the polls show half the country supports it?
