“Tea Party Express”

Let me remind you that the Tea Party Express is NOT “THE TEA PARTY”. (only a part)

And I like Dick Armey very much. Respect him greatly. Was at his retirement gathering at the TX GOP Convention.

I don’t know why they would pick Rubio. He started distancing himself from the tea party 2 weeks after they helped to get him elected. Oh and he’s not eligible either.

27 candidates and he gets 66% of the vote. I am not buying that.

Mitt is anti-amnesty for illegals (so he says) but a liberal while Rubio is pro-amnesty for illegals (so he says) but a conservative.

I think both can be persuaded to act conservative on the issue and I fear if we get too nit picky Mitt will go Pawlenty, Rice or Christie and then we get four more years of the brown Bolshevik.

“Rubio is as ‘eligible’ as George Washington, Ronald Maximus, and BJ Clintoon. Get with the program!!!”

George Washington was born a British Subject but was “grandfathered” in under Article 2, Section 1, Clause 5 “...or a citizen at the time of the adoption of the Constitution,...” because there were no “natural born” American citizens age-eligible at the time the Constitution was written/ratified.

To our knowledge, unless you have evidence to the contrary, both Ronald Reagan’s and Willie Clinton’s parents were all American Citizens at the time of their births.

Rubio, on the other hand, was born a dual-citizen. Cuban based on the fact that both his parents were Cuban Citizens and an American Citizen under the 14th Amendment. Not sure how you stretch that to “natural born”.

We ARE with the program and wish all the rest of you were, too.

Not necessarily. We need to win two of the three swing states: Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Win one and you finish just short of the 270 electoral votes needed. Win two and you limp over the finish line. Win all three and you cruise.

It has been that way for more than a century.

Rubio in nbC under the 14th Amendment Art 1. since he was not the son of an ambassador or the son of an occupier. He was born in Fla and therefore he is nbC and he accepted the jurisidiction of the US. Therefore he is Jus Solis.

de Vattel is not the constitution.

Red and all those who say Rubio is not natural born. Obama asked his good friend George Soros to change all those pesky findings, precedents and laws so they would be easier to understand that anyone who knows someone who owns an hawaiian shirt is a natural born citizen and therefore qualifies for the office of President of this great nation The United States of America. Wasn’t that special?

Michigan is also listed as a swing state this year, and Wisconsin may also be in play.

We only need 2 of the 4, or 5.

Obumble is is trouble.

Both Rubio and Jindal are citizens of the USA, being born in Florida and Louisiana, thirty five years old and have lived here for the last fourteen years, and they can prove it.

All of that being true, they are still not natural born citizens of the United States, as their parents were not citizens at the time of their birth.

They are eligible for Senator or as Congressmen, as the requirement is only to be a citizen.

Natural born is only for the position of President. But you knew that.

http://www.sodahead.com/fun/are-we-sure-mitt-romney-is-eligible-to-be-president/question-2388237/

Are we sure Mitt Romney is eligible to be President?

http://www.wnd.com/2012/01/is-romney-eligible-to-be-president/

IS ROMNEY ELIGIBLE TO BE PRESIDENT?

The jury is still out on this issue. Why have American voters been given the choice of questionable candidates in the last two elections? The “shadow government” is attempting to set a precedent for non-natural-born candidates to become president.

With Roberts siding with the Leftist four the US Constitution pretty much allows whatever they allow...

...I'm not saying you are wrong just impotent and we are in the choke-hold of socialist realpolitik right now...

...the Founders gave one branch of the government the power to be corrupt with impunity and that was their failing—they were too naive and too primitive to distrust basic human nature even after intensive vetting.

George Washington was not qualified because Hawaiian shirts had not been invented yet therefore he could not know someone who owned one and was therefore not a natural born citizen. See how easy that is!
