Thanks to Rush and Savage I may break my talk radio addiction today.

Cured by relentless irrelevant topics!

Thanks for the Savage update. I hope you’re getting paid OT for some of those 12 hours. Better to earn it now than next year after taxageddon.

That HBO series Hard Times about Long Island is getting more press lately. I think the scary thing is that even people who appear to do everything right (going to school, climbing the ladder) have no guarantee that they’ll never get axed.

Therefore, it can happen to anybody. (Hopefully Obama too!)

Not this time. Two 8 hour days and two 12 hour days. 3 days off this week. whooo-hoo.

Sounds like a decent schedule. I’ve long thought four 10 hour days was a good arrangement. For good or bad, all that is behind me now.

Salaried/Exempt people don’t get OT pay. That especially applies to today’s subject. Layoff survivors work 60, 70 or more hours a week doing their job and that of 2+ people let go, still getting paid for only 40 hours.

It’s kind of random. I was working four ten hour days. now I fill in for some vacations on a previous job I used to do. I’ll work Mon.-Fri. 8 hour days the next 3 weeks, then fill in for a vacation or two.

I hate paper cuts the worst. They seem so stupid when they happen.

Economic hard times for many families. . . . Savage is no hard-hearted conservative SOB and I gotta agree

Savage should take that $80 bread knife back and buy it elsewhere for a bargain $50. Yes siree bob.

The subconscious acting up there? Rubbing it in, maybe?

That last bit where one of Savage’s staff spliced audio pieces of Obama’s speech to construct an endorsement of _Trickle Down Tyranny_ was pretty funny.

When he said expensive cooking supply place, I thought of Sur La Table.

He can go to Kitchen Collection instead. Or Wal Mart.

It seemed a bit thoughtless to be so concerned about the welfare of those in need.. then complain about paying $30 too much for a *&^%$! bread knife.

He's in California.. the 99Cents Only stores have a fine collection of kitchen items.. I purchased a very nice bread knife there. What the hell can a $80 bread knife do that my $0.9999 + $0.08 sales tax ($1.08 total) can't do? It's very sturdy, stainless steel, and.. sharp!
