The Mexican government has been working with the United States Department of Agriculture to increase participation in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), or food stamps.

USDA has an agreement with Mexico to promote American food assistance programs, including food stamps, among Mexican Americans, Mexican nationals and migrant communities in America.

“USDA and the government of Mexico have entered into a partnership to help educate eligible Mexican nationals living in the United States about available nutrition assistance,” the USDA explains in a brief paragraph on their “Reaching Low-Income Hispanics With Nutrition Assistance” web page. “Mexico will help disseminate this information through its embassy and network of approximately 50 consular offices.”

What did we do to deserve having these parasites as our neighbor? What a wonderful life this would be had Switzerland been on our southern border! Instead we are being bled by these leeches.

I guess they’ll get the North American Union one way or another.

Will Mexico contribute to the cost with oil or something, or will the American taxpayers foot the bill? I think I know the answer.

It's simple. Mexico supplies the participants, the American taxpayer supply's the money. This is another reason I despise Mexicans. They're nothing but thieves and parasites and will use this as a means to smuggle more of their people in here. Our government has turned against us.

I guess any thought of Mexico sharing in the cost of US feeding THEIR illegals in OUR country is out of the question.

Note that this kind of thing was already going on during the GWB years: The partnership — which was signed by former USDA Secretary Ann M. Veneman and Mexican Secretary of Foreign Affairs Luis Ernesto Derbez Bautista in 2004 — sees to it that the Mexican Embassy and Mexican consulates in America provide USDA nutrition assistance program information to Mexican Americans, Mexican nationals working in America and migrant communities in America. The information is specifically focused on eligibility criteria and access.

Meanwhile, If we’re (Canada) richer than Americans, it’s not because of socialism

I assume by ‘Mexican Americans’ they mean USA born children of illegals and of course their parents, illegals, administer the benefits for their kids.

Another aspect to this is something along the lines Schiff would talk about. To goose the economy the Fed runs inflationary policy which boosts the price of food and then the government hands out that loose money in stuff like food stamps to others than us to compensate, like to these invaders, not us,

That would probably be the "official story," but I doubt they would deny food stamps to anybody, including illegals, who even claims to meet the requirements.

From another srticle: Sessions cites the example of “a character in a USDA-produced Spanish-language “radio novela” [who] tries to convince a friend to enroll in food stamps even though that individual says, “I don’t need anyone’s help. My husband earns enough to take care of us.” The first individual responds: “When are you going to learn?....When contacted for a comment, a spokesman for the Department of Agriculture said that the program is not intended to target illegal immigrants and that it is not a creation of the Obama administration.”

The second half of the last sentence is true. Thanks to GWB for giving Obama another excuse.

Obama's obvious message is that he is opening the pandering throttle full blast, and the hidden message is that he wants a bigger class of govt.-dependents. The GOP (excluding those like Jeff Sessions) tries to look more subtle, but they use many of the same tricks
