Mayor Menino on Chick-fil-A: Stuff it
Boston Herald ^ | 7/20/12 | Greg Turner

Posted on 07/20/2012 7:04:34 AM PDT by GQuagmire

Vows to block eatery over anti-gay attitude... Mayor Thomas M. Menino is vowing to block Chick-fil-A from bringing its Southern-fried fast-food empire to Boston — possibly to a popular tourist spot just steps from the Freedom Trail — after the family-owned firm’s president suggested gay marriage is “inviting God’s judgment on our nation.”

“Chick-fil-A doesn’t belong in Boston. You can’t have a business in the city of Boston that discriminates against a population. We’re an open city, we’re a city that’s at the forefront of inclusion,” Menino told the Herald yesterday.

“That’s the Freedom Trail. That’s where it all started right here. And we’re not going to have a company, Chick-fil-A or whatever the hell the name is, on our Freedom Trail.”

So this mayor thinks being a pervert is a freedom thing?
Does he agree then that the homos should be able to have sex with kids? Isn’t that freedom? Mayor sounds like he is an IDIOT!

Don't you just love unintentional irony? Menino is descriminating against Chick Fil A for their beliefs. I'm sure the fawning liberal Boston media won't point this out.

And yes I think they're good but kind of pricy $2.95 for the bottom of the line sandwich

One thing that the CFA president got wrong - homosexuality isn’t “inviting” God’s judgement, it IS God’s judgement.

Read Romans 1:18-32
“God’s wrath is revealed as”
“God gave them over to”

Eight years ago, the Catholic Church had petitions at the back of the Church against gay marriage. The Church turned the signed petitions over to William Galvin, State Secretary. He turned them over to some whacked out gay guy with a website in Newburyport. All of the petitioners names and addresses were displayed on the Web.

Nice huh?

Regarding Chick fil A ... it's great and Boston's loss!

No less a sophisticate than Esquire Mag named Chick-fil-a one of the nation's best sandwiches.

ESQUIRE REVIEW You can get a chicken sandwich anywhere, which may explain your low expectations. Boneless breast. Bun. Blah. But down south, there lives an eye-opener.

A come-to-Jesus sandwich.

The Chick-fil-A. Seasoned, breaded breast served on a toasted buttered bun with dill-pickle slices. No mayo. No sauce at all. Deceptively simple, yet transcendent. The hook is the breading: spicy, with an intoxicating crunch. The meat is always juicy, never chewy. The bun is like lingerie -- there, but not, providing delicious support without obscuring the main flavor. The first bite changes everything you think you know about chicken. And about the need for condiments. --Allison Glock

Just order a deluxe: comes w/ frilly lettuce leaf, lge tomato slices
and cheese with a side of waffle fries and large lemonade.
Couple containers of their "special sauce" and you got lunch.

If the Mayor thinks Boston is at the forefront of inclusion, then he needs to include Chick-Fil-A. After all, he can’t exclude someone with a difference of opinion now, can he? That would be discrimination.

Is Chick Fil A any good?

I like it a lot. I got the chicken club with waffle fries last night at the mall....Finally went to the mall that was not a Sunday....lol. Anyway, I went to Chick Fil A because I like their food not because of any of this political stuff. I just don't think businesses should be involved. I feel the same way about JC Penny....just sell your crap and make your food. I don't want to get my political views from a fast food restaurant for sure nor a store outlet.

Libs are like Islamists. You are tolerated only if you submit to their values. If you do not submit, you lose your head. Or your business.

Being an IDIOT is never a good choice.
Mr Dumbass Mayor.
Chick fil A does not discriminate against perverts. They do not ask each customer are you a pervert? Sorry we donlt serve you. The Compnay founders are decent moral Christians who chose not to agree with or promote perversion.
Oh and that population. Homos make up between 1-2 percent of the adult population in America.

"That’s the Freedom Trail."

How ironic (but par for liberals) that the mayor said this in defense of BANNING a private business from his city.

Liberals are constitutionally incapable of being intellectually consistent.

No problem. Chick-Fil-A is welcome in many American cities. The liberal bastions can shove it up their collective asses.

The guy who served me and my family Chick Fil A last night was pretty obviously gay. I don’t understand what the problem is with the gay mafia....it’s not like they are not hiring them. Many places don’t support gay marriage...I will support those places but I still would rather live in a society where you go to places to eat, buy things or do things without any politics at all and go because you enjoy whatever they are offering. It is silly and just to confusing to know which ones believe what. What do you do with a place that is anti-gay marriage and pro-abortion....I would not go obviously but I just wish they all would shut up and cook or sell. We tell actors and actresses all the time, shut up and sing or act!!! lol.

Only the best chicken sandwich ever! But even if it was processed chicken shit I'd prefer it over Menino and the other liberal slaves to the gay agenda.

They also have a great grilled chicken sandwich, and a salad way above the usual fare. Well worth a trip. Too bad for you, Boston!
