In fact, my outrage is that I don’t expect something different, and I’m tired of it. This shows, once again, that they think they can do this kind of shoddy reporting and get away with it. They issue an apology and think that calms everyone down. Without a thought of what kind of damage may be done by not verifying their information, they couldn’t wait to tell America this guy may have been a TEA party member. They were going to get the scoop - they were going to be the first to report on this guy. They have been hungry to pin something on the TEA party for a long time and they thought this was it. I want the TEA party Jim Holmes to hire a hot shot lawyer who is not afraid to take on ABC in a slander law suit. I will contribute to the fund.
Just watched ABC news. Unbelievably they still have Brian Ross reporting on the story like nothing happened earlier in the day.
I took a quick look at www.abcnews.com and can find no evidence of an apology. One would think if Mr. Ross and/or this “news” organization had the least bit of professionalism or sense of shame, they would offer a very public apology on their website.
Imagine if Fox News made such an unfounded and inflammatory accusation?
Who is Brian Ross? What is this ABC you seem to have “news” of? Are they some sort of leftist culture dregs?
Brian Ross and George Stephanopolis kill people and bury them under porches of each other homes. That’s the climax for them after they’ve had sex with each other in the men’s room at ABC.
