The news hit the airwaves like a sudden onslaught, and the truth began to sink in. It has happened again. This time, 50 people shot while attending the midnight premier of the last in the Batman sequence, “The Dark Knight Rises.” According to press reports, a 24-year-old man burst into the crowded theater, wearing a gas mask and carrying an arsenal. After deploying what is believed to be tear gas, he opened fire with a shotgun, a rifle, and two handguns. At least 12 people are dead, and dozens are injured, many critically.
Over 100 police officers responded to the scene in Aurora, just a few miles from Columbine High School, where in 1999 two high school students killed 12 fellow students and one teacher in a rampage that also injured 21 other students. That school massacre became a milestone in the nation’s legacy of violence. Now, yet another Denver suburb joins that tragic list.
The inevitable media swarm focuses on the data first—the who, what, when, and where questions. Then they, along with the public at large, begin to ask the why question. That is always the hard one.

Evil doesn’t have a specific face as it doesn’t want you know what it looks like, so it can deceive you.
The answer is this: someone is either evil, or he is whacked. It’s no different than a hurricane, a tornado, or an earthquake, or for that matter, a mad dog. Leave God out of it. He gives us freedom, in exchange for which we, as inhabitants of our bodies, are subject to the exigencies of life within the physical cosmos.
Used to be we put the ‘whacked’ into homes away from the public. But apparently failure of proper oversight doomed the general population to having the ‘whacked’ walk among us. And at times our compassion comes back and bites us. Guns have nothing to do with it.

Here’s the answer, there is bad seed in this world, and there’s nothing you can do to avoid having bad seed. The best parenting in the world, censoring movies and music, will not avoid bad seed being among us.
You’re telling me now this is a face of evil? You should have told the world yesterday. Heck, you, or somebody who knows these things so much better than the rest of us oughta tell the world which faces among the 6 billion are the faces of evil before bad things happen and not after, because what’s the use? Agree. In my humble opinion, “Truth” and values originate with God (The Judeo-Christian one). Without that, there is no such thing as right and wrong, only relativism.
From that foundation, you can easily discern the wrong sources.
