SAN DIEGO (AP) -- Some of the loudest cheers at San Diego's gay pride parade were for active-duty troops marching in military dress.
Saturday's celebration marks the first time U.S. service members are participating in a gay pride event while decked out in full uniform.

This is also at the feet of SCOTUS. Remember they struck down the “Stolen Valor” act as unconstitutional, so it’s entirely possible that some if not all of these fags aren’t really in the military but simply pretending to be.

I’ve been making the same point for some time. Our current military is largely made up of people who probably would not (atleast not want) to take up arms against our own people. Some have made comments about the disproportionate number of white males from the south that have made up our military. I’m not sure about the technical number there, but the point is made.
With Obama getting his way on this issue and the demographics change taking place, our military will soon be made up of people who would love nothing more than to take up arms against....oh lets say......bible believing Christians. It would not surprise me in the least.
I miss Patton. He would have known what to do about this.

This is definitely not your father’s military and America is becoming a country most of us don’t recognize anymore. I seriously doubt one election will substantially change the downward spiral but we have to try while we still can. Obama being defeated in November will be an important first step. Whether America can eventually revive is doubtful but not entirely impossible. I’m willing to try rather than simply giving up and crying doom and gloom all day long.

BINGO! You may go to the head of the class! Think back to the 70s when hippies loved to slouch around wearing odd pieces of military garb they’d scrounged from somewhere; and if the jacket, for instance, still had rank chevrons on the sleeve, or a name tag sewn on, so much the better.
I figure that is happening but it doesn’t get the media attention since it doesn’t reflect good on Maobama and his policies.
Don’t be discouraged. It is always darkest before the dawn. When hubris and arrogance are at their height, they bring on their own collapse. I actually think that it is encouraging to see it this far gone. It can’t last. It is too hot not to cool down.

The private sector isn’t much better, especially if you work for a larger or Fortune 500 company.

I wonder what doors to activity within political events this will open? Queers on parade is nothing more than an advocacy issue. So it follows that advocacy of other issues while in uniform should be permitted as well.
Then again, I’ve always favored not being allowed to participate in these types of events while in uniform. It doesn’t promote good order and discipline.
I truly believe the Lord is abandoning our nation. May He have mercy on His people in the midst of the wickedness.
