It must have been TownHall editors who supplied that headline. Ken’s position is clearly that few policy positions are LESS covert than Obama’s unfliching, enthusiastic and well-nigh totalitarian support for abortion.
Oh how I wish his mom had the same passion for abortion that he has!!
Obama has always supported abortion, and even killing a handicapped child after the birth.
Why would anyone say it is covert.

I agree and Ken Blackwell’s column abundantly documents that. From the day I first laid eyes on the man I knew his position on abortion and for that alone was prepared to vote against him, no matter what slime was hurled at me.
Of course, he has since gone on to support just about every conceivably untenable, unAmerican, destructive Marxist policy position and so my intention to vote against him has not ever wavered.
He should thank Marx I have decided to be obedient to the law and only vote once.
His point was only that they said it, not that they believed it, to make clear that they felt it necessary to give themselves cover for their true position.
This would be in contrast to the open murderous intent of the current WH Occupant who feels confident in supporting mass murder of defenseless preborns and infants without cover of any kind of quoted statement to the contrary or even of qualification about his degree of support.

I know some people who are not merely pro-choice, but have an almost religious fervor for abortion. I can understand, intellectually, being pro-choice but just cannot wrap my mind around having a *passion* for it!!
It’s too bad Stanley Ann Dunham wasn’t equally enthusiastic about abortion back in 1961.
We lived through six years of Governor Sebileus who was financed by the Kansas partial birth abortion industry. It’s a horror that our RINOs and our cowardly press refused to face, and they still pretend it didn’t happen.
Maybe if they had faced it, we would be a little further along in understanding why liberals are so fond of it.

It distorts the dirigisme of Obama's Leninism, to say that he opposes any rights for the unborn.
He opposes individual rights for everyone, living and dead.
