An Arapahoe County Court judge has granted a request to seal the case against James Holmes, the 24-year-old shooter who killed 12 and wounded 50 during a screening last night of "The Dark Knight Rises."
The motion, filed in Arapahoe County court, asks for the records in the case to be sealed, including search warrants, affidavits, orders and the "case file."
... disclosure of the court records would be "contrary to public interest" and "could jeopardize the ongoing investigation."

I doubt it would be “contrary to public interest” for the public to know more details about this crime. Such as, who else is involved, where did the killer get tear gas, and who financed everything?

It would certainly be contrary to public interest for the other suspects to have any clue about the investigation.
We tried to unearth as much as we could before it got shut down.
We have the important early info, and names to go on. We have a fairly decent expectation it won’t be repeated.

Zimmerman may have been well within his rights to do what he did, but we know this guy wasn’t.
After awhile a person becomes pretty good at connecting the dots in a news story and with their personal knowledge. So yeah, it certainly points in that direction for me. In any case it certainly has a whiff of conspiracy.

We all want this done right, not a circus, not a bunch of lawyers yapping on the courthouse steps or websites compromising the trial by publishing every police report and bit of evidence before it gets to court.
There is a difference between keeping some information from the public due to an ongoing investigation, and “sealing” all information.
Secret investigations, which is what this amounts to now, indicates a possibility of scrubbing government culpability.
Holder and Ubama are so evil, that there is a distinct possibility that this is another of their schemes to "brainwash people into thinking about guns in an entirely different way."
I think the probability is at least 50/50.
It’s in the public interest to let law enforcement do its job and lock this perp up permanently. It’s not in the public interest to turn it into a circus like the O.J. trial or the Zimmerman case.
The public and the family will know all there is to know in due time. We want this done right, and our curiousity simply does not count.

The purpose of this prosecution isn’t to give Grace (or any other blogger/broadcaster) material for their shows. They can find something else to yell about and line their pockets.
We want justice for the victims, and I’m all for letting the pros handle it. Again, I applaud this judge. Too bad he wasn’t on the bench for the O.J. circus.

First of all, they have his computer now. The police chief said they were going to ‘talk’ to “everyone he ever knew throughout his entire life.” The fbi is on the case.
