At least 11 people were killed and a dozen others injured Sunday in a single-vehicle crash near Berclair in Goliad County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Around 7 p.m., the driver of a Ford F-250 super-duty pickup veered off of U.S. 59 while heading north and crashed in unincorporated Goliad County, DPS spokesman Trooper Gerald Bryant said.
"The truck left the roadway and struck two very large trees," Bryant said.
A man who claimed to have been the truck's driver was ejected but is alive, Bryant said, and six others inside the cab of the truck were pronounced dead at the scene. Another five victims outside of the pickup also died at the scene, he said.
According to Bryant, a total of 23 people of "a variety of ages," including some children, were in the vehicle. The victims have not yet been identified, he said.

Back in the day I worked as a forensic photographer and shot a number of automobile accident scenes with multiple fatalities. Anybody who makes light of this is sick.

It may be that the Sinaloa Cartel arranged the ‘crash’. They are trying to win the contest to see who gets to run the US-Mexico border.
The Sinaloa have control of half of Arizona already, so they are one up on the Los Zetas. Besides, Obama sent a ton of new FBI agents to track down and kill just the Los Zetas gangs. Soon, problems along the Texas border will cease as all flow will be through Arizona.

If we were all to act in unison in an outwardly “appropriate” fashion, would it change anything?

Back story:
It turned out that Gonzo was from my old hood in Chi, he went to the same HS as my wife and I did, we had some of the same teachers, and him and I even had a mutual friend (who died in VN on his 2nd tour) -- even though I'm a 'tad older' than Gonzo and so was our mutual friend. Gonzo lived in an area of 'the hood' that was called 'Little Mexico' (like Little Italy or Chinatown is).
But he no longer lived there, he moved to the Western edge of Chi and lived there with his mother, whom he supported. Anyway, one day I asked him why he moved out of the old hood.
He said without blinking or a bit of sarcasm -- "To get away from the F__king Mexicans!"
This is why I support a ban on pickup trucks and SUVs - they’re tools of death on our highways.

Thanks. I just started reading another thread about this incident. Looks like the human smugglers are getting more illegals into our country.
How does a truck full of illegals get that far north without detection? We can’t leave the valley without going thru a check point. I know there are back roads that avoid the checkpoints, but those roads are heavily patroled by Border Patrol.
We must ban high-capacity cars, trucks and SUVs. Only “friendly” looking cars will now be allowed. /sarc

Last I heard 14 have now died. This will get about the same amount of coverage as a little black girl getting killed selling lemonade.
