Don't look now, but the Muppets want a divorce. The Jim Henson Company is scrapping its kids'-meal-toy relationship with Chick-Fil-A now that the left-wing pressure is on to boycott the Christian fried-chicken chain, which is offering toys right now from the Jim Henson Creatures' Shop line.
Muppet chieftain Lisa Henson went to Harvard and was president of Columbia Pictures, making her a progressive elite on both sides of the country. They announced on their Facebook page Friday they were strong supporters of "gay marriage" and were donating their Chick-Fil-A proceeds to the gay censorship cause:
The Jim Henson Company has celebrated and embraced diversity and inclusiveness for over fifty years and we have notified Chick-Fil-A that we do not wish to partner with them on any future endeavors. Lisa Henson, our CEO is personally a strong supporter of gay marriage and has directed us to donate the payment we received from Chick-Fil-A to GLAAD.

Henson died of organ failure due to Strep A....responsible for things like strep throat and rheumatic fever....this is not pneumocystis which is associated with AIDS
No...Henson died from the bacteria that causes strep throat. He didn’t go to a hospital until it was too late, likely due to his Christian Science upbringing. He was never gay or an itravenous drug user. He did NOT die of HIV infection.

I say parents should pack up the toys and send them to the Henson person. I don’t know if it is a he or she and don’t want to offend. Chick fil A could put up bins in their stores for donating the kids meal toys to GLAAD.
Didn’t Mr. Cathy speak out against gay marriage? How does that become ‘spoke out against being gay’? Am I wrong about what he said?

Oh, their food is quite good. I had some for the first time last year when I visited Texas. Ended up going a second time with my wife. I wish they had a store up here, but they won’t enter Washington State. Same thing with Cracker Barrel.
I’ve heard tell that some chains won’t come here because the state government and tax code are not ‘business friendly’.
