Residents of the French Hill neighborhood in Jerusalem plan to combat Arab prayer-calls by blasting music from loudspeakers, in defiance of Arab religious conventions. According to Israeli newspaper Yediot Aharonot, Israelis plan to broadcast music from loudspeakers positioned toward a mosque in the Arab village Al Issawiya, located in Jerusalem on Mount Scopus near Hadassah Hospital.
A widespread practice among Muslims, the adhan is a call for Muslims to attend voluntary prayers that are broadcast from a Mosques large towers called minarets, like the one standing over the western wall in Jerusalem. In previous centuries, the muezzin, leader of the adhan, would stand atop the minaret and project his voice, but technological advances have yielded microphones and loudspeakers, which are now utilized to project the adhan remotely at volumes of up to 100 decibels. Jerusalem residents are often bothered by the noise because adhans occur before each of the five daily Muslims prayers, the first of which begins before sunrise, and feature Arabic versions of the basic Muslim creed, to persuade Muslims to attend mandatory prayer service.
In an effort to convey their displeasure, residents of Jerusalems Givah Tsarfatit, or French Hill neighborhood, have approached an amplification company with intentions of buying four giant loudspeakers, from which rock and roll music will be played to clash with the Muslim prayer songs. The music, specifically chosen from the hard rock musical genre rather than mellower styles like classical or Mediterranean music, will be played when the Muslim broadcasts begin.
The campaign to limit the Muslim broadcast has until now taken place at Jerusalems city hall, where attempted negotiations between the village of Al-Issawiya and the French Hill have taken place. The agreements yielded a promise by Al Issawiya to lower the noise level of their adhans, but French Hill inhabitants claim that no such change has been instituted, leading to the launch of their more drastic rock and roll campaign.
If the campaign is successful, other neighborhoods have pledged to follow suit.
This should drive the Muzzies nuts
Early life
Dale was born in South Boston, Massachusetts and lived in nearby Quincy until the eleventh grade. He is of Lebanese, Polish and Belarusian descent (though his Lebanese father was not born in Lebanon).[2] He and his family moved to Orange County, California in 1954, where he learned to surf and became interested in music.[3] He soon learned to play the drums, the ukulele, the trumpet, and finally the guitar.[4] Due to his Lebanese heritage, he also had a strong interest in Arabic music, which would later play a major role on his development of surf rock music.[5]
Dick Dale king of surf guitar probably Jewish via his mother

Storm the Embassy:
Stray Cats - Storm The Embassy (1981)
Fifteen man taken captive in a hostile foreign land
Scorchin’ sun beaming down onto miles and miles of sand
A mideast country being ruled
By a man who thinks it’s fun
To hold our people in return
For a shah that’s on the run
I think it’s funny
Freedom takes money
It’s a heartache and it’s hard luck
Well that’s tough shit
Man it’s no fun
Storm the Iranian embassy
Before they start shootin’ down you and me
Scourge of suits in control
Of the diplomaticness
While the nations of the world
Look on and they care less
The Soviet Union won’t agree
To an economic plan
And then they laugh and march their troops into Afghanistan
Orders from Moscow
Invade Teheran now
It’s a heartache and it’s hard luck
Well that’s tough shit
Man it’s no fun
Storm the Iranian embassy
Before they start shootin’ at you and me
A nation worries and reads the papers
Hoping that no-one has died
Hearin’ rumours that the hostages
Will soon be tried as spies
Demonstrations on the street
Saying that the end is near
The man from New York Times on vacation
Wants to know what happened here
Agressive acts now
We want the best now
Fifteen moms crying
Is my son dying ?
It’s a heartache and it’s hard luck
Well that’s tough shit
Man it’s no fun
Storm the Iranian embassy
Before they start shootin’ at you and me
We’re not gonna take it!!

Thank you - that was a trip and a half!
Good choice. There was a great video post-9/11 that used that as the theme. I’m sure many here remember it.
That was my first choice, too!
