Yup, actually went to college with a guy whose name i think was Abogado. The teacher in Spanish class (mercedes roldan) as i've mentioned before, was from Argentina and she wanted guys to visit her for after class tutoring.

As I recall he was under a lot of pressure from his family to be the first to know Spanish.

They lived in Anaheim. And yeah, to a Midwesterner he looked quite hispanic.

That guy should have studied law, ‘abogado’ is español for ‘lawyer’.

I once worked with an Argentine who had the distinction of having been captured by the Brits during the Falkland Islands War. He looked like a Greek shopkeeper.
