WASHINGTON (CBSDC/AP) - James Holmes, the alleged gunman in the recent theater shooting that left 12 dead in Aurora, Colo., was previously awarded a $26,000 federal grant.
WNEW News reports that Holmes was awarded a prestigious grant from the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md. NIH is part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
It gave the graduate student a $26,000 stipend and paid his tuition for the highly competitive neuroscience program at the University of Colorado in Denver. Holmes was one of six neuroscience students at the school to get the grant money.

So it is reasonable to conclude he bought those guns with Obama’s fedgov money, yes.
Unless he called Dad and said: “Dad, I’m going to commit mass murder, need some guns, don’t want to rip off the government, so could you spare a few thousand for the arsenal?”

Btw, the father and grandfather of Holmes have interesting histories.

Actually I’d bet Holmes was actually vetted far more thoroughly by the NIH than Baraq was by the MSM.

So we know that the intelligence community funds grants. Many times the researcher doesn’t know where the money is coming from.
Holmes research sounds like something intelligence would be interested in. His family likely has had contacts in that area.
You can’t view certain BASIC neuroscience program info without a password at University of Colorado which is weird.
It may be that Holmes experimented on himself and it triggered something - like adult schizophrenia.
This whole thing is weird.
Could a person with Aspergers get into the University of Colorado and get that grant.
