Where's the gravy?

When I was a kid I was sent to live with my grandparents to help them out .......and also because I was incorrigible, whatever that means. But that's just an aside.

Every morning my grandfather would have oatmeal with butter and real maple syrup, black coffee....and a shot of rye whiskey. So I always joined him even if the sun wasn't up. Didn't get a shot of whiskey though.

I think the “condiments” were off to the side. :) I like gravy, but also like butter and jelly.
