Moreno tries to block restaurant that opposes gay marriage from opening in his Northwest Side ward
A Chicago alderman wants to kill Chick-fil-A's plans to build a restaurant in his increasingly trendy Northwest Side ward because the fast-food chain's top executive vocally opposes gay marriage.
Ald.Proco "Joe" Moreno announced this week that he will block Chick-fil-A's effort to build its second Chicago store, which would be in the Logan Square neighborhood, following company President Dan Cathy's remarks last week that he was "guilty as charged" for supporting the biblical definition of marriage as between a man and woman.

Hey, isn’t today ‘eat at chick fil a day?
I was in the Chic--fil-a store in Brandon, Florida last week and I did not see the first" No Queers Allowed" sign. "Good Morning", "How Are You","May I help you", and "Do you need help in carrying it to the table?" was all the questions I was asked. There were people from all walks of life in the place.
I know he won't , but he should tell those who do not want him to go to hell. There are plenty of places and people that would appreciate one of his stores in their areas.
I am reminded of a line from Bruce Hornsby's self rightous song, "The way it is":

The Catholics, yes, but the others will be embraced with open arms.

I’m with you. Doesn’t matter where you stand on gay marriage, these clowns in public service are overstepping their bounds. Not only is this kind of thing not their call to make, we cannot have them discriminating, period. This time around you may agree with them or not, next time you may be on the other side of the issue. Either way, these fools ARE stepping on your fellow Americans rights.
These people are power-mad control freaks and must be opposed...
