Chick-fil-A makes a great chicken sandwich, and I used to like getting onewith a cup of their amazing lemonadewhenever I was in the South. In fact, before I knew more about Chick-fil-A, I used to joke about helping to open one in New York.
Then I found out the company, according to the LGBT group Equality Matters, has donated millions of dollars to groups that oppose gay rights, and Chick-fil-A's president, Dan Cathy, told a Baptist newspaper that he supported the "biblical" definition of family. Thats why former Gov. Mike Huckabee of Arkansas has asked that folks who share the company's principles stop by a Chick-fil-A on Aug. 1 to show support for the company's conservative values.

"But then I laughed and remembered that I'm a liberal Democrat! It's my lifelong pursuit to DESTROY businesses, not help them prosper!"
Client 9 checks in.....
Ha! Nice to know I disagree with that slimebag. I ordered my Chick-Fil-A t-shirt yesterday from their website. Can’t wait to wear it around NYC.
Eliot Spitzer is higher class than most Democrat politicians. At least he paid for high priced hookers with his own dime.
I doubt that Chick-Fil-A is pro-prostitution, either, so I’m thinking that’s a deal-breaker for client #9.
Not surprising - irony is usually abundant among the lib-prog crowd and they are just generally clueless about how they expose themselves to ridicule.
[Chicken sandwich Nazi voice] No chicken sandwich for you!!! And give me back that lemonade, too!!! [/voice]
I wish Chick-Fil-A was publicly traded.
I’d have bought the stock the minute I heard the libs squawking.
I bet they prosper like never before.
I hope the employees have a profit sharing plan.
They are not necessarily “conservative values”, they are biblical values. Conservatives didn’t establish marriage - God did.
When I was a member of Spirit of Atlanta Drum & Bugle Corps, we did a standstiill at their headquarters. They fed us and gave us T-shirts. Middle 80’s.
Hell no I’m not going to boycott. I’m with Huck on this one. I’ll be there next Wednesday for Dinner (if not sooner)
This moral point from an adulterer and hooker procurer. Some people just need to STFU before they prove how stupid they are.
Me, too! I bet the place will be packed - more than usual. The one we go to is always packed, especially on Saturdays.
I eat there about once a month. Stepping it up to two or three times until the gay mafia gets their panties untwisted.
I have been buying more from them every since this began. I LOVE that restaurant!
It’s like you’re sitting there, right inside his mind. Spooky.
Does he get that with a side order of hooker?
Does he get that with a side order of hooker?
If they want to start an economic battle, I’m up for it. It’s not that I’m anti-gay, I’m just pro-free speech and the right of a citizen to express their opinion. If one side organizes and wishes to destroy my ability to shop where I wish, then I’ll do likewise although it goes against my free market beliefs. If the boycott of Chic-Fil-A is a success, then I’d suggest supporters of traditional values publish a list of companies not supporting traditional values and we start a nationwide boycott of them. Boycotts of this nature are nothing but blackmail of the masses by organizing a minority, something which our current President excels at. If the majority fails to stand up, our rights are lost forever.
So, when Client #9 pays for his meal at Chick-fil-A, does he leave his payment in an envelope on the counter?
I’m not saying Eliot likes to walk around wearing a sandwich board that reads “EAT MOR” with a hole at crotch level on the front board. I’m just saying that the idea is entertaining.
I’m just going to eat there more often. We love our Chick-fil-A’s here!
Eliot inspires me . . . my birthday is coming up in a few days. We live several miles from the closest Chick-fila. I think I’ll request that we go and eat lunch that day at Chick-fila . . uh, I forgot my birthday is on a Sunday; so I’ll go on Monday since they’re closed on Sunday. :o)
Obama for America dines on Chick-fil-A
I think Mr. Spitzer would like to personally boycott Chick-Fil-A due to their anti-prostitution stance.
My thoughts too. Probably be a record year .
Had my first ever CFA meal last nite, as matter of fact. Spicy chicken sandwich, and lemondade, based on a recommendation here.
Will be going back for another tonite, and again on Aug. 1.
Eliot Spitze disses Dan Cathy for supporting heterosexual marriage.
Ain’t that rich?
I don’t mind the libs and homos boycotting CFA. I don’t shop at Target or JC Penney anymore, and I now buy Wranglers instead of Levis. At least with no libs at CFA it should be a pleasant dining experience.
Support the First Ammendment - Patronize Chick-Fil-A
Heck no! Sign me up!
(got one close to work, going...)
Went there today as support for their American values. I’ll go again on the 1st, maybe even before that.
“Does he get that with a side order of hooker?”
No, it’s actually....can I get that with a side of “French Thighs”
“And I remembered that I betrayed my wedding vows, cheated on my wife and children and used women for my own lust and realized that I stand for NADA.”
I’m going to start eating there.
Geez, I thought they said buycott! I went and dropped $35 on sandwiches for dinner. Had to abandon my lunch run, way too many cars in the parking lot and drive-thru.
So are all the Chick fil a’s busy? I dont think think there are any in northern new england.
I don't care what the gay haters do... I'm sick of the threats. We have a right to believe marriage is between a man and a woman. They should make an effort to be more understanding of people who aren't like them. Gays are sooooooo narrow minded.
Gays are 2% of the population - if they want to pick an economic fight with the 98% I say, 'go for it'...
Maybe Chick-Fil-A should add some new menu items just to mock the perverts.
How about some new sandwiches, like...The Chicken Hawk, The Pirate, or maybe a renamed hot fudge/hard ice cream sunday on a brownie.
I'll bet they could make a fortune.
His favorite meal there is the #9.
A Chick Fillet Resturant just opened yesterday in Forest Hill, MD just north of me. There were 188 people camped out for the grand-opening. Store will do VERY well in this area.
Here's the plan - we go to Chick-fil-A - buy a sandwich - vote for marriage when it comes up ( WE ALWAYS WIN) and refuse extra rights for ANY bedroom activity. Dogs, chains, groups, whatever - so special privileges. No 'marriages'.
Then we ignore them.
Ignore them but ask them to please get a life, live that life, and leave the rest of us alone. We don't want to interact with them, don't want to know them, don't want to fight with them about sexuality. About other things - fine - we can be co-workers, friends whatever but they need to leave their bedroom stuff in the bedroom. We're bored with their drama... we're NOT interested, just LEAVE US ALONE... Really, gays need to find something new to fill their emptiness and boredom. Not us. Maybe they can try to control each other - or take to hating some new group... whatever...
They have a life, they are busy harvesting our kids.
