Skip to comments.Jim DeMint and others join Governor Palin in renewed effort to help Ted Cruz

As we get closer to next Tuesdays runoff election in Texas, Governor Palin reminded us earlier today how important it is that we elect grass roots conservatives like Ted Cruz to the Senate so that we can clean up the mess created by the permanent political class of both parties:
Today early voting begins in the run-off election for U.S. Senate in Texas. Texans have a clear choice in this race, and I encourage them to support Ted Cruz, a strong conservative fighter who will protect and defend our Constitution and not just go along to get along with the reckless spending of the permanent political class in D.C. The high-paid consultants of Teds well-funded opponent are in full panic mode and have plunged millions of dollars into false personal attacks against Ted meant to dispirit us and break our conviction. Weve all seen these tactics before, but together we can make sure they dont succeed. I encourage Texans to get out and vote for Ted Cruz.
The National Journal reports that Ted Cruz is receiving additional support from other conservative entities such as the Club for Growth and Jim DeMints Super PAC, Senate Conservatives Action, and that momentum appers to be on the side of Ted Cruz, despite the millions that have gone into the Establishments phony personal attacks against against him to which Governor Palin referred:
Senate Conservatives Action, the new Super PAC affiliated with Sen. Jim DeMints Senate Conservatives Fund, released its first television ad supporting Cruz on Monday. The 30-second spot calls Cruz a champion of freedom and a defender of the Constitution while urging voters to support him in the runoff. The super PAC is spending $500,000 to air the ad on broadcast stations in the Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and Austin television markets.
Meanwhile, the Club for Growth, another conservative group backing Cruz over Dewhurst, announced Monday that it is spending an additional $574,000 on Cruzs behalf. That brings the anti-tax organizations spending on the race to $2.5 million since the GOP primary.
The willingness of the Club and Senate Conservatives Action to invest so heavily in the final days of the race may reflect a growing sense that momentum is squarely in Cruzs corner. The tea party favorite also outraised Dewhurst by a three-to-one margin from July 1 through July 11, according to pre-runoff fundraising reports filed by both campaigns. Cruz brought in $523,000 during the 11 day span compared to $160,000 for Dewhurst.
The ad produced by DeMints Super PAC gives face time to only two prominent conservatives. One is Ronald Reagan. The other? Governor Palin. This is not surprising given DeMints astute assessment of the Governors influence last week.
B-b-but wait, you say. I thought the mainstream media and GOP Establishment have declared her passé; irrelevant even; not even worthy of an invite to the RNC, an event she dominated last time around like nobody else in recent memory. Er whatever you say, boys.
As Governor Palin indicated earlier, you can support Ted Cruz by visiting his website here and making a donation. There are only eight days remaining until the election and Establishment choice Dewhurst is nothing if not well-funded. The time is now to show our support for Ted Cruz, Governor Palin, and other grassroots conservatives working to free the GOP from the shackles of the Washington Establishment.

The Mrs. and I flew across the world to vote for Cruz.
Supposedly Palin is to speak at a rally in the Woodlands on Friday.
I have yet to find specifics on the venue.
That’s quite close to here.
Thank you Jim for the pro-Cruz posting.
I don’t think Dewhurst would be some disaster (like Alaska having Sen. Mark Begich), but what a wasted opportunity if Cruz does not win out!!
Go fer it!! Maybe you can get your picture with Sarah!! Woo hoo!!
Make and bring her a sandwich.
>>I dont think Dewhurst would be some disaster<<
Anyone who can lie as broadly as obama is not someone who I would ever trust. You would think the DNC was writing Dewhurst’s commercials.
Dewhurst is a dewch.
Maybe she'll bring some of that venison jerky.
Besides, the establishment needs to get yet another slapdown.
Well I agree that Dewhurst is effectively lying when he accuses Cruz of supporting “Obama’s amnesty.” Not only has Cruz NEVER supported amnesty, but also, Dewhurst at least DID support it in 2007 — then scrubbed that support from his website when it became a liability for him here in 2012. Disgusting.
Anyone who lies so easily and foully as Do-worst is not worth a vote.
Texas Patriots PAC is proud to welcome:
Governor Sarah Palin, Senator Jim DeMint, Cathie Adams, Tea Party Express, and Ted Cruz
for a Get Out the Vote Rally this Friday July 27th at 6:00 PM at Town Green Park in The Woodlands, Texas!
Town Green Park, 2099 Lake Robbins Drive The Woodlands, Texas 77380
Election Day is Tuesday, July 31! Vote and please bring others to the polls to vote also. Thank you for getting active in this most critical primary election!
I received another email from Sen. Jim Inhofe endorsing Dewwurst...no thanks!
Follow Sen. DeMint on Twitter.

My “favorite” is Dewchbag (I decided to use that from now on) saying “CRUZ WAS FINED FOR ELECTION VIOLATIONS!” He missed a filing deadline for Christ’s sake! It was a $200 late fee!
Ok, that's funny right there! I don't care who you are!
Let's see. Maybe he will make a sandwich and take it halfway to her?
Has Duhurt ever released a political ad talking about his accomplishments? Ever? No, really.
I have seen all the debates and heard all the campaign ads from both sides. Dewhurst is a McCain-like Republican. It would be a shame to get stuck with him for 6 years just to find that out. What is disgusting is that Republicans like Rick Perry, Michael Reagan, Mike Huckabee and now James Inhofe are supporting Dewhurst. These Republicans should be embarrassed by him and the disgusting way he is running his campaign instead of supporting him. Thanks Jim DeMint and Sarah Palin for supporting Ted Cruz.
Just recently at Texas State Republican Convention Perry got booed big time by the crowd when he mentioned his support of Dewhurst
