It all started when president and COO Dan Cathy made statements against gay marriage. and now, things have ramped up into a national debate.
Rev. Billy Graham, the legendary evangelical minister, has now entered the fray, coming to the aid of Chick-fil-A.
The 93-year-old is against gay marriage, and has been strangely polarizing lately. Earlier this year, he publicly endorsed a constitutional amendment to ban it in North Carolina.

Standing up for the word of God is polarizing? So be it. I know what side I’m on. August 1 - CFA Appreciation Day. Unbelievable that saying marriage should be between a man and a woman can cause this much controversy. America is doomed.
Judging from her pic at the link, she looks a bit anti-male, anti-heterosexual too.
Strangely, Billy Graham actually believes in the Bible that he has presented to the masses for over 60 years!
How is that strange? don’t get it. i must be stupid. /sarcasim

God's word and His perfect law are separating those who love Him from those who hate Him. Just trust Him and let Him do his job.
Lets start the discussion with a BELLY CRAWLING LIE and then proceed to knock down straw men.
For the Record, Dan Cathy DID NOT make statements AGAINST queer marriage. He only expressed support FOR TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE.
But in the queer world, that's a negative to begin with.
Shows you where their perverted minds are.
Gee even late in life he won’t “evolve” to celebrate sin and applaud same sex marriage.
Imagine that.
Some are stunned that some do no welcome gay men to do the same to young scouts that Sandusky did to young athletes.
Then again, newsrooms have significantly higher incidence of homosexuals than the general society. Overvalue their own interests.
“Unexpected!”
Ah, so now he’s strangely polarizing, but the queers who want to wreck a business because of the private views of ts executive are not?
Got it.
Yep like the queer pot calling the kettle strange.
Yep like the queer pot calling the kettle strange.
Really? He looks anti-female to me:)
>>Standing up for the word of God is polarizing? So be it. I know what side Im on.
It is supposed to be polarizing. The Bible says so in a couple places. I know what side I’m on too.
>>America is doomed.
Probably. The sodomites and their followers will seal this nation’s fate.
Yeah unexpected that a Christian really believe the Bible. Strange & polarizing that be.
that’s a hoot. u made me shoot my adult beverage out my nose.
blessings, bobo
I think the right pronoun for the writer is "it."
“The 93-year-old is against gay marriage, and has been strangely polarizing lately”
Strangely? I’m sure it all appears “strange” to this author.
So be it.

Glad you enjoyed it. :-)
Good for Rev. Billy Graham.
If Rev. Graham’s comments are “polarizing,” then I say, good. It’s about time conservatives stop being so tolerant while the opposition tramples on their rights.
Wait until GOD introduces them to HIS version of “polarizing”... as in Heaven and hell.

I think that’s a dude. Check again.

Business publications that are steering investments away from certain companies because of corporate politics deserve to be open with readers/investors.
That means asking muslim owned Church’s chicken what the owner’s stance on same sex marriage is.
That means informing investors of how much money (including union dues) are being directed towards gay pride parades and gay targeted advertising.
Or is this issue already decided by the lavender mafia?
I live about 3 hours from the nearest Chick-fil-A in Seattle.
I have never been to a Chick-fil-A, but the next time I am close to one I’ll be trying them out.
Unbelievable!
That our news sources and journalists can write: “Against” when such vile unthinkable evils can be “Supported” and endorsed; that which was illegal and shameful in all our nation, and states.
If being right, and seeking righteousness is called “bigoted” and “intolerant” then I and nearly all peoples I know would and will chose righteouness.
Our Saviour and our Lord Jesus said: “Blessed are they which hunger and thirst righteousness: fo they shall be filled.” (Matthew 5:6)
He should stick to business performance and leave political evaluation (that this was “bigotry”) out of his reports.
“strangely polarizing”???
Guess he knows nothing about Billy Graham.
reporter is “abundantly ignorant”
Whoa, Church’s Chicken is Muslim-owned!?
I thought Islam was against artificial sterilization! :-). :-) :-)
It is unbelievable, but consider the source.
This is fag propaganda, written by a fag propagandist.
He/she/it should be fired.
But he/she/it won't be.
It's pathetic.
GOD BLESS THEM and all that stand with them!
Apparently it may no longer be halal (although I suspect some restaurants were bought by observant muslims and may still operate that way http://www.zabihah.com/d/Houston+17856+Churchs-Chicken/)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church’s_Chicken
Church’s was owned by AFC Enterprises, along with Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits and Cinnabon, through the end of 2004, when it was sold to Arcapita (formerly Crescent Capital Investments). Because Arcapita is an Islamic venture capital firm, pork products were removed from the menu after the sale (as pork is not halal) in 2005.[5][6] Also, American Church’s Chicken restaurants switched beverage products to Coca-Cola, while still retaining the Pepsi contract in Canada.
...On August 10, 2009, San Francisco private equity firm Friedman Fleischer & Lowe bought Churchs Chicken from Arcapita.[7]
In some areas, Church’s is co-franchised with the White Castle hamburger chain.[8] In Canada, Church’s Chicken items were once available in Harvey’s restaurants, but the co-venture was discontinued.

Amen & Amen!
Very inciteful, when we say we are for something, they reword it to say we are against something!
Be sure to try their shakes...the best ever...
“Standing up for the word of God is polarizing?”
Well, yes. “Remember when they hate you [for spreading God’s word], they hated Me first.” The word of God has always gone sideways down the throats of unbelievers.
Sounds like he’s a liberal at heart
Jesus was also “strangely polarizing”.
“Graham has traditionally stayed away from “thorny social issues” for years, so this should raise some eyebrows. It’s just not like him.”
Billy Graham for foremost an evangelist interested in converting unbelievers to believers. He avoided social issues because he felt, right of wrong, that they detracted from his primary purpose. Also, he believed (and I understand this), if a person is converted, they will no longer see homosexuality, abortion, etc. as OK.
Now that he no longer crusades, he is just saying what he has always felt. It can no longer detract from his ministry and may leave him with an even better legacy.
I am glad to see him do this. I was so distressed back in the Monica Lewinsky scandal that he didn’t speak out against Bill Clinton and his immoral behavior. It was almost, in my perception, like he didn’t mind. Of course, I know he didn’t really feel that way. However, it did upset me at the time.
I wished there was a Chic-A-Filet in my area....I would be sure to give them my business. I used to eat at one in a previous location where I lived. I always admired how they would stay closed on Sundays and it didn’t hurt their bottom line.
Will do...
“Polarizing?”
Hey, the state can do whatever it wants, it won’t make it a marriage
And since when do a person’s religious beliefs disqualify him from doing business in America?
That’s a fella.
Newsrooms have more gays than conservatives...
Tru dat!
What is really happening is Nazi Germany. Anyone associated with God or what not is deprived of his rights. It’s like when friends of jews were sent to the death camps. The gays are doing the same thing.
Good for Graham.
It’s time someone stood up for straights.
Newsrooms were stolen the way the gays are trying to steal the label ChickAFilet. The only thing Obama won’t let them quite steal are the gun business... and that is very interesting because that means gays ultimately, like blacks, are slated to the government plantation.
Good grief. Since when did this become a “social issue” in their tiny minds? It’s a moral issue, and he has every right and in fact the duty to say what he wants about it.
Also, why has it suddenly become completely verboten to utter even the mildest disagreement on this subject? I’m stunned at how fast the left and the press are moving to enforce their latest idiocy (”gay marriage”), but I’m also stunned by the overt harshness and barely concealed threat behind their words.
