Given his accompanying statements -- "you didn't get there on your own," etc. -- that is an absurd construction. But even if that's what he meant, why would he have felt compelled to point out that businesses don't succeed without access to roads and bridges? Do roads and bridges not connect the population to failed businesses?

And those bridges and roads were built by private companies funded by the TAXPAYERS the government collected the taxes

Obama knows what he’s doing...he’s appealing to the ignorati...the tens of millions of dopes who know all the latest entertainment idols but couldn’t tell you the name of their congressman or woman. He’s hoping there’s a lot more ignoramuses out there than intelligent voters. Four years ago he was right.

In Obama’s book he recalled the time he worked for a commercial business. He defines that time as “when I was working for the enemy.” But, I guess if that would get the same attention and repeating as his recent “You didn’t build that,” comment...he would say those words were also “taken out of context.” The more he spins, the deeper he digs himself into the ground.
