Actually, 23% of Jews and 4% of blacks voted sensibly in 2008. Those are not good numbers, but it's possible to redirect a significant number of Jewish votes this year, especially with Obama's extreme hostility to Jews and to non-Islamic religion in general. I do not expect a whole lot more than 4% of the black vote to be pro-freedom this year, but I expect a much lower black turnout, and I'm okay with that. When those who can't vote against Obama look at just how much harm Obama has done to America in four years, and how disproportionately that destruction has hit black Americans, staying home is a good option for those who can't bring themselves to vote based on the content of a man's character and not just the color of his skin.

Jews don't vote Democrat in nearly as great a percentage as blacks. A lot more than 2-3% of Jews will vote against Obama. They even did in 2008.

If most Jews really understood their G-d, there would be no need to convince them to not vote RAT. It is the secularization of Jewish identity that has weakened and perverted their cultural default to vote RAT. When people tell me that “G-d is not a Republican”, I agree and then add: ‘That’s true, He’s not, but He did condemn most of the Democratic platform.’

Most of my fellow American Jews are educated far beyond their ability to understand. Most American Jews are Jews second and Liberals first. Liberalism is their religion, their identity, their coat of many diverse colors. Too many of our grandparents were communists before there was an official communism, because their European and Middle Eastern communities denied them even the basics of private property and simple security in their homes. My mom's dad, who had fled Ukraine with just the clothes on his back at age 20 in 1893, used to sit in front of our TV muttering Febrenta Republicans * and railing against the wealthy. My mom voted Socialist in her first election at 21 years old. I was raised Full Boston Jewish Liberal and never thought about it until I went out into the real world and saw that Liberal Judaism is as godly as a crowd of union thugs and as rational as a Three Stooges comedy. That some Jewish Obama supporters are turning is wonderful.

I would have been good if you had noted the Washington Post rebutted almost all of what Goldstein had to say in this ad.

Thus I do not see the ad having no negative effect on Jewish support for Obama.

Stupid Idea.

Of course Team Obama is anti-Israel. And his Negro buddies are anti-Semitic to boot. But then so is the hard-core Jewish Left. Want Jewish Voters to wake up a little bit? Talk about economics ... the same way you talk to any other American. Not much a weak America can do for its friends, anyway.

Talk "Enlightened Self-Interest." Face it, Romney won't get many no matter what he does, but it's a start. Could happen... Reagan did it.

Sadly, you are absolutely right! For all their emphasis on education, Jews are unwilling to see the world in terms of even their own self-interest. You can almost understand why Blacks vote RAT as they are relatively uneducated and they have the added “plus”of being “skin color oriented.” But the vast majority of the Jews, can’t even look back to WW II and understand that guys like Obama would give a repeat performance if they felt it was in their interest to do so!
