12 people died from the Batman theater attack. A thousand times that number would die if the right to carry a firearm for self defense were taken away. Chicago has almost one murder per day in a city that has strict gun control. How many would die in right-to-carry cities if the Second Amendment was revoked by the commie gun-grabbing left?

This author's a moron. A knife, just like a gun, is a tool. It can be used for good or for evil. Just because someone wielded it in a way that was harmful to others doesn't change its state of existence. It's still a knife.

Mayor Bloomberg issues an order that ALL knives with a point and/or a sharp edge are now illegal in NYC. You can turn them in at any firehouse or police station. This includes private residences, restaurants, and stores. A plastic knife will be issued for each assault knife turned in. (Be sure to recycle your plastic knives).

While your linked story was posted yesterday it is talking about an event that happened 4/26/2012 and updated 4/27/2012 of this year.

Still - it has not gotten much MSM play even in that length of time.
