Mayor Ed Lee warns Chick-fil-A against coming to San Francisco
San Francisco Chronicle ^ | 07/27/2012 | Paolo Lucchesi

San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee has joined in the growing chorus condemning Chick-fil-A for the national chicken chain’s much-publicized anti-gay views.

After mayors in Boston and Chicago recently expressed their disapproval with Chick-fil-A and its intolerance, Lee followed suit and took to his Twitter account late yesterday, firing off two successive tweets. The first one conveys his disappointment with the chain’s lack of values, and the second one takes it up a notch, suggesting that Chick-fil-A don’t even think about opening in San Francisco.

Lee is referring to the Chick-fil-A in Fairfield. Closer locations are in the works, with planned locations in Walnut Creek and San Jose. Furthermore, the Press Democrat reports that the forthcoming Santa Rosa Chick-fil-A, which just got city approval in May, can expect plenty of opposition from the town:

People who disagree with Lee should stay out of SF totally. Spend their money someplace else.

San Francisco just got a new bishop. He is VERY PRO-family.

San Francisco may experience a bit of a quake with this one. ;-)

(Hmmmmm, what might he have to say to Nancy Pelosi?)

Now we see who the truly intolerant are - LIBERALS! They are the most bigoted people on the face of the earth.

Chick-fil-A in not anti-gay. They haven’t said ANYTHING that is anti-gay. They serve EVERYONE and do not discriminate against gay people in their hiring practices.

These bigoted, ant-christian mayors are the truly intolerant.

What is SF’s debt now? $500M? So glad Mayor Ed has his priorities in line.

There was an article yesterday on the Internet that states basically no city, country, state or otherwise government official can keep Chick-Fil-A from opening restaurants in their immediate areas, AND IT CAME FROM THE ACLU OF ALL PEOPLE!

Chick-Fil-A has every Constitutional right to open a restaurant wherever they want, and if a government official tries to stop them then they are in violation of current federal laws and the 1st Amendment.

I'd like to see the mayors of Chicago, Boston and San Francisco try to stop them.

On another note, it seems very coincidental that each of the cities mentioned so far, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco, are three of the most evil and sexually immoral places to live on the entire planet. God's judgment will fall most severe on cities such as those.

“God’s judgment will fall most severe on cities such as those.”

A friend of mine and I were talking yesterday about this topic and she said that she wonders if the left isn’t agitating for a civil war? If so, I expect the people who know how to use guns will eventually prevail and then Ed Lee, Rahm Emmanuel, Tom Menino, and etc. will reap the proverbial whirlwind. I must say that I won’t shed a tear for any of those vermin when they’re finally marched off to a firing squad.

The Chick Fil A people should sue the socks off these city officials. Seriously, I think they have grounds for some kind of complaint.

No kidding. Maybe the mayor should focus on fixing the broken BART escalators that are clogged with feces from the homeless using them as toilets.

Gotta say I think this current issue is helping wake up the decent, middle-of-the-road folks to the democrat/liberal/sodomite agenda (used the singluar as it is all one agenda...).

Hearing people who are usually non-committal in political views connect this current intolerance aimed at Chick-fil-A to the current regime.

Farmers tried to grow chickens in San Francisco and it was a dismal commercial failure.

No matter what they did, the chickens were nothing but left wings and a-holes.
