Note that the police did not protect ANY of these people from being shot. This must be mentioned EVERY time we have a shooting story to put what the police do to “protect” the average citizen living in gun-free zones, in proper context.
It’s not their job. Officer Safety is their job. That means shooting anything they think could possibly hurt them - armed civilian in wrong house cops are no-knock raiding, any visible dog, anywhere in sight, etc.
As in “I pop a cap in yo *ss sucka.”
Of course Chicago Values are antithetical to a Christian world view.
