Israel should not be pushing for Pollards release. Liberals have turned this prisoner into a virtual hostage using him as a ploy to undermine Israel all the time. Pollard’s release is dangled as a lure to Israel every time Israel starts to show resolve in dealing with the Palestinians, Sunni Islamists, or Iranians. Pollard serves to fool the ignorant rubes of the liberal Jewish educated class into thinking that whatever politician dangles this toy likes Israel. And Pollard conversely is used by liberals to drive a wedge between Israel and conservative Americans.
Pollard....yeah lol...that’s relevant.
Sickem....you get dem Joooooos.
(Sob) The elitist, unmitigated contempt you hold for the rest of us is s-o-o-o-o sad.
If you ever get a break from your (cough) duties, you should seek help for that (bawl).
There are Joooos to the left of us...Joooos to the right.
“That was never the plan Mr. Owl.”
Indeed. The President Bush really f-ed things up by buying into WWII-style reconstruction, much to our continued regret. Now the question is, have we learned our lesson? Pat Buchannon is right to bring up the subject. The vigorous discussion is good for all of us.
“The French and Indian War (7 years war) was actually the first war in the defense of America.”
The titanic struggle for control of the North American continental interior. Some people call it the first true world war with the French taking it on the chin in Goa, India, if my mind is working right, along with big armies in Prussia and Austria battling it out, and colonies all over the place changing hands. A young Colonel Washington started our part the affair in Pennsilvania.
The aftermath was a true zentith in British world power.
At that time George Washington was still an English toady. He eventually came around to the right way to think about it ~ but it took him 20 years.
Col. Washington, gained invaluable experience in the French % Indian War. He actually started in Cumberland, Md., where he built a fort and then a road through very mountainous terrain, on his way West into Pa. and Fort Pitt/Duquesne, by way of Fort Necessity, where they were overwhelmed and surrendered.
He got his ass handed to him, but managed an amiable surrender to live and fight another day.
Valuable experience. Then General Braddock enters the picture to assist Washington. His fate was worse, shocking the Brits who believed Washington to be an incompetent Colonial and the reason for the initial defeat.
Washington was hardly a toad though. We were all British subjects prior to Revolution, to come a little later.
“toady’, not ‘toad’.
Indeed. The President Bush really f-ed things up
100% correct.
“No, OUR PART started with the defense of Quebec and the Wabash Valley.”
Semantic games - What childish fun. You know exactly what I meant. Now that you reveal your nature, I will attempt to be more specific when referring to the belligerents.
I thought the Plains of Abraham occured later.
And yes, Colonal Washington was in the British Army at the time. He was hardly a toady. I suggest you read his writings from that era and gain some insights into the man.
I much prefer Washington’s writings from later on where he could be depended upon to be pro-American every single time ~
