Obama Now Blames His Trillion Dollar Deficits on Bush Tax Cuts
Gateway Pundit ^ | July 28,2012 | Jim Hoft

Today Barack Obama blamed his four years of trillion dollar deficits on the Bush tax cuts. From the president’s Weekly Address:

You see, Republicans in Congress and their nominee for President believe that the best way to create prosperity in America is to let it trickle down from the top. They believe that if our country spends trillions more on tax cuts for the wealthy, we’ll somehow create jobs – even if we have to pay for it by gutting things like education and training and by raising middle-class taxes.

They’re wrong. And I know they’re wrong because we already tried it that way for most of the last decade. It didn’t work. We’re still paying for trillions of dollars in tax cuts that benefitted the wealthiest Americans more than anyone else; tax cuts that didn’t lead to the middle class jobs or higher wages we were promised and that helped take us from record surpluses to record deficits.

And, of course, he’ll get away with these completely inaccurate statements.

Obama as the Whining-est President ever, in over his head so deeply he blames everyone else for his failures. He wanted the job, still does...but can’t take the heat of being the leader so blames his predecessor(s)on his failures and weakness.....who would knowingly vote for this Socialist/Marxist wimp? His Community Organizing does not a Statesman make...truly a failure and classless leader.

**** “ What an ignorant ideologue this jerk is. Money is not something that just ‘exists’, to be distributed ‘fairly’ by the government. It is a representation of all the goods and services created / produced by people doing work. The government creates no goods, and provides few real services, and cannot support itself except for what it confiscates from those who do work. The idea that a ‘tax cut’ is somehow a gift, from the government, is absurd. A tax cut is an agreement by the government to steal less from its citizens.” *****

Since the Bush TAX RATE Cuts for ALL Taxpayers INCREASED Federal Tax Revenue by 35% from 2003 to 2007, what the heck is this idiot talking about? (Approximately $1.75 Trillion in 2003 to $2.5 Trillion in 2007)

The Evil Rich paid even more of the Tax Burden than they did before the Busk TAX RATE Cuts for ALL Taxpayers were implemented.

So far I have only heard Fred Thompson mention this. Are the Republicans so afraid of the Bush record that they let our Marxist Messiah get way with these lies day after day?

As another Poster noted, even if Pharaoh Obama gets the top rates moved up, we are looking at less than $100 Billion in Revenue. What is that, less than 8% of the Yearly Deficit?

Seems like a good time to revise an old Tagline.

Bet Bill Clinton gets even for that stupid line.

Aside from Marxist Obama's lack of any understanding of economics other than using other people's money, he probably learned under (Cloward/Piven) how to wreck America economically....Obama does not like America.

Why would anyone knowingly vote for this person?

NEWS FLASH! The entire Iraq war over Bush’s 8 years cost less than the Obama “stimulus” in his first two years.

It’s amazing how the government can spend money on tax cuts. I can understand how an individual can “spend” money for a tax increase, but the government can’t “spend” a tax cut.

He had two years to deal with this before they were planned to sunset in 2010. He didn't. He can't blame W, it's on HIM.

The slower it's evident this "recovery" is in historical terms, the harder it becomes for Obama to say it's Bush's fault with any conviction.

There can be little doubt, his policies were and are the wrong policies to rebound this economy.
