Here's the Challenge: I will donate an additional $1.00 for each post up to 250 posts telling us what your favorite Chick-Fil-A menu item is. I've never eaten there but I'll dang sure be on Wednesday. This thread is created to help Free Republic keep the lights on as well as help me choose what to order on 8-1-2012! Come on FReepers, don't be CHICKEN!!
p.s. I DOUBLE-DOG dare any Freeper to match the dare at any set figure from one buck on up.
Let's Roll!
I’ll bite....We don’t have any locally, but will stop next time were on the road...Plan on ordering a grill sandwich and a milk shake.
Just the regular sandwich ans waffle fries! Doesn’t
get much better than that!
Jim, after 13 months I finally found some work. Woo Hoo! It’s not long term but it is work and I am thankful. Let’s knock this sucker out! (the Freepathon I mean)
If anyone is a member of Yelp, please leave a 5 star review for the Chick-Fil-A in Hollywood on Sunset Blvd. They’re getting blasted:

waffle fries are the best.
A boneless breast of chicken seasoned with a spicy blend of peppers, hand-breaded, pressure cooked in 100% refined peanut oil and served on a toasted, buttered bun with dill pickle chips, Green Leaf lettuce, tomato and Pepper Jack cheese. Also available on a Golden Wheat bun.
The chicken nuggets. Perfectly spiced, and absolutely killer with the Polynesian Dipping Sauce. . .
Followed by their great chocolate chip cookies.
Regular chicken sandwich, lots of pickles and mayo.
Waffle fries with hot sauce and a bit of ketchup.
Chocolate milkshake and a Classic Coke to drink.
That’s some fine eatin’, right there.
The Chick-fil-a Deluxe was very good today. Haven’t had many items on the menu yet.
Hmm I guess I could just tally up tomorrow. Also my dumb butt forgot to put a time limit on it. hehe...oh well.
The nearest Chik-fil-A from me is at the Paramus Park Mall in northern NJ, over a hour’s drive from me, but I will try to be there Wed.

I don’t like to eat a large meal,so I usually order the kid’s meal with 2 chicken strips for lunch. It comes with waffle fries and a small drink. At dinner, I add a side salad and a brownie.
My husband and son love the chicken sandwich and my daughter loves the milkshakes.
I went there Wed and brought home supper.
Their #1 sandwich, (which is chicken, two slices of pickle on a bun), a glass of water, and a large peach shake. And a side of Chic-Fila sauce.
Post #13 has us to $8.00 already!! Woo Hoo!!!
I’m pretty sure she’s NOT on the menu. (If I’m wrong let me know so I can change my answer.)
The Chik Fil A sandwich and an Ice Tea. Best tea in fast food.
Hey dark, we need to get some folks with ping lists over here to send out invites to the party. Do you know of any? I’m calling sunkenciv. He may or may not hit his lists. It’s worth a call though.
A #1 combo
Chargrilled Chicken Salad with Fat Free Honey Mustard dressing. And a root beer (not easy to get root beer in most restaurants around these parts).
My choice is the Chargrilled and Fruit Salad. With the obligatory Waffle Fries. Most triumphant.
The breakfast menu is superb, especially the spicy chicken burrito.
The chicken nuggets. I love them. Great for lunch if I’ve got a few bucks to spend.
Post # 22 has us at $12.00. Woo Hoo!
I like the breakfast biscuits.
When did I hit my limit? I think it was when Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel got involved, throwing his muscle--- Im talking about raw political knuckle sandwich --- into the face of a private businessman explicitly because he espoused Christian values. But heres the back-story.
Dan Cathy, the CEO of the Chick-Fil-A restaurant, was explaining his business philosophy to the Baptist Press.
He said that Chick-Fil-A is not an exclusively "Christian" company, but they try to run it in a Christian manner: they close on Sundays, for instance, so all their employees can go to church and/or spend time with their families.
Explaining pro-family, he said they treat gay people with respect, as customers and employees. But as far as he and his kin are concerned, theyre in favor of the Biblical definition of marriage; they are all still married to their first wives and proud of that.
Well, thats when the chick hit the fan.
Gay activist groups: THATS HATE SPEECH! BOYCOTT CHICK-FIL-A!
Pro-family groups: WE SUPPORT CHICK-FIL-A! COUNTER-BOYCOTT!
Chicken-consumption-wise, the Christians probably way out-weigh the LGBTQQIs in sheer tonnage, so I expected an easy win for Chick-Fil-A. I said to myself, Self (I said), Next time youre near a Chick-Fil-A, treat yourself to a Spicy Chicken Deluxe and a Peach Milkshake. The finger-lickin-Christian-chicken people would triumph, I had no doubt!
INCREDIBLY, THE POLITICIANS STARTED SWARMING. Elliot Spitzer --- --- Seriously??! Elliot Spitzer?!!--- the politician who spent $80,000 on the services of prostitutes when he was Attorney General and Governor of New York?? That Elliot Spitzer? --- said he and his pals would be boycotting Chick-Fil-A in order to show our commitment to the values we believe in.
And other politicos started squawking, not just with their views and values, but with outright Mafia-style muscle. Boston Mayor Tom Menino said he would block any Chick-Fil-As opening in Boston; Rahm Emanuel said the restaurant would be barred from expansion in his city because Chick-Fil-A values are not Chicago values. ( Chicago? Values? Seriously?)
Calling Tom Wolfe! Calling P.J. ORourke! Cluck, dudE! Where are the social satirists when you need them?
Theyre going to use the coercive power of the government to stop a restaurant chain, because the restaurant guy supports Biblical marriage.
Like I said, thats when I hit my limit.
Im not just buying a Spicy Chicken Sandwich.
So, Birthdays? Weddings? Pot-Lucks? And now you know what Im giving for Christmas this year.
And Milkshake!
Peach to People of Good Will.

I searched for the Chick Fil-A today that is listed on their Store Locator at 5 University Place, NYC to no avail. Does anyone know where it is ? Inside an unmarked building ?
I’ll have the double fil’A chicken both gAy married on a bun. Kosher pickle on the side just for the appearance of hetero functional in the traditional sense. Two pickles would be taboo and construed as an all gay meal especially with mayonaise galore.
I vaguely remember eating there once in 1990 when I PCS’d from NRD Cleveland to PCU Chosin (CG-65) but what me my wife and 2 kids had? It was chicken. :-) I will be going to Massachusetts on Wednesday since I seem not to be able to get gift certificates online for my brother in Ohio.
There are none around here. The last time I am sure I ate there was in Ft. Walton Beach. I am certain that I ordered the regular chicken sandwich and a coke. I thought it was good.
The one thing I recall is my elderly Father was also with me and he ordered the same. He particularly liked the chicken sandwich and I can still remember his saying the chicken didn’t leave a taste in your mouth the way burgers did.
I took my entire family to Chick Fil-A after attending a gun show and buying a Uberti level action rifle in .44-40 caliber.
Be sure to snap a photo and send it to The Rahmfather and Herr Bloomberg while yer at it.
Awesome post Mrs. Don-o!
Visited Chick-Fil-A 4 times this week! My favorite is the Spicy chicken sandwich. Just volunteered today at a charity golf tournament and Chick-Fil-A supplied over 150 chicken breakfast sandwiches for FREE!! I can’t wait to see the turnout on the 1st.
Every Tuesday my family meets me for lunch at the Chick-fil-a at North Point Mall near Atlanta. We go to the same clerk, Pieriette (sp?) who is delightful, and we order 6-count nuggets, fruit cup, lemonade, apple juice, a #1 regular and a #3 spicy with Cokes. The kids get a toy featuring some educational angle.
I'm partial to the spicy chicken sandwich with waffle fries.
PING and ping the ping list.

Spicy Chicken Sandwich Deluxe. "Also available on a Golden Wheat bun" which is definitely an upgrade.
If they made spicy chicken strips, they would win.
That's great whitedog but if you don't tell me your favorite item, I don't donate a dollar!
I’m sitting here eating a Chick-Fil-A salad. Never ate there before; but will be stopping for salads from now on. Clerk said, “Business is steady.” There were about 5-6 families in the place at 5:30. Don’t know what “normal” would be for a Saturday. But this is a tourist town full of military. Not San Francisco.

Ya did good. It is a good day when you can do two things to annoy liberals.
Spicy chicken.
THAT'S GREAT WHITEDOG BUT IF YOU DON'T TELL ME YOUR FAVORITE ITEM, I DON'T DONATE A DOLLAR!
