Krauthhammer: No Pro-Israeli American Would Vote for Obama...
Townhall.com ^ | July 28, 2012 | Daniel Doherty

Nationally syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer has never been one to mince words when discussing the president’s ever-growing litany of foreign policy blunders. And, apparently, he has no intentions of stopping now. In fact, during a recent panel discussion on Special Report With Bret Baier, he seems to have taken his public criticisms of the president to a whole new level, essentially saying no one who is pro-Israel would re-elect Barack Obama unless they’ve “been in a coma for three and a half years.” Via Fox News:

Friday Lightning Round: US relationship with Israel

Despite Krauthammer’s misgivings about the president’s leadership capabilities -- and “unconscionable” failures on the international stage -- a recent Gallup poll nevertheless shows Jewish Americans overwhelming support President Obama this election cycle.

While Republicans may look favorably on Romney's visit to Israel, another group with keen interest in U.S.-Israeli relations -- Jewish Americans -- solidly backs Obama in the election.

Gallup Daily tracking from June 1-July 26 finds Jewish registered voters favoring Obama over Romney by 68% to 25%. That is essentially the same as Gallup's prior update on Jewish voting preferences.

Although one goal of Romney's Israel visit could be to attract greater support among Jewish voters in the U.S., Jewish Americans have been a traditionally strong Democratic group, so they are unlikely to become much more supportive of Romney regardless of the outcome of the trip.

On Sunday, Mitt Romney will arrive in Israel where he is expected to receive a warm welcome from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Ehud Barak, and other Israeli leaders.

I think it’s more important to them to keep the country safe for abortion on demand and gay marriage and no torte reform than to safeguard Israel. They have to be self loathing Jews to vote for this guy.

It's insane. You'd think abortion (on which Judaism doesn't have the exact same position, but it's mighty close) was the most important thing in Judaism. How in the world did Jews manage to live in the US until 1973? Was abortion so central before then?

The Jews were chosen to represent G-d to the world. Now many of them think their mission is to combat chrstianity and secularize the world.

if Obama gets back in by your hand

Speak to the establishment and stop the drama of blaming others for THEIR deliberateness and mitt's tactics w/them that was long in the making and well planned to deceive voters.

I expect you all to be right there alongside the rest of us.

No. The establishment will be as they own you now. What comes down is all THEIR doing but since they don't give a flip about you - you need to vent somewhere. Get yourself a pillow - because we aren't listening.

No Pro-Israeli American Would Vote for Obama...

But a beltway insider who is a semi-conservative columnist and yet supports gun control might vote for a centrist Mormon whose principles are "flexible."

Or Romney either for that matter. Jews are Gentiles.

Define “Zion” and I guarantee Mitt’s definition is different.

In my mind, Romney, aided by a GOP Congress, probably does more long term damage to America than Obama, opposed by a GOP Congress, can do in four more years.

The problem with your thinking is that Obama does what he wants, regardless of the law, or what the Congress does, or doesn't do. He simply states a law or a directive, even when it has been voted down by Congress, and because of his illegal, Satanic power, it is done. It is obviously that vast amounts of people who should be standing against him, are very afraid of the powers behind him. They may be being threatened, as well as their families. Something is keeping people in authority frozen when it comes to stopping him. Even if we elect him out, it will be by grace if he goes. He is obviously not a lawful, legally abiding President, but a despot.

God help us, because if He doesn't, Obama and minions will undo us. The answer, first, is that we all must repent and plead for God's merciful grace and help, rather than His justice. Decent, God loving people should be calling for National days of fasting and praying, encouraging Americans to change our life styles from self centered indulgence to serving the living God. As David killed Goliath, and Israel won the battle because David believed in God's ability to conquer, so must we become, if we are to prevail. The stakes have become way too high for us to ignore our real need for God's intervention.

“Poor Barack.If He’s Reelected,Think Of The Mess He’ll Inherit!”

Love your tag line!!! Send that to various T-Shirt and bumper sticker companies if you originated the thought!

As for Krauthammer, I think he’s angling for the FEW American Jews who still feel a connection to Israel.

The rest of American Jews are hopelessly in the Obamatard camp.

Exactly!! I can’t bear the thought of it. I fear this Nation will not be able to recover another 4 years of Fascist King Narcissus.

Exactly but that is a simple idea that those who vote for their team or ABO simply cannot grasp...

Those voters who will decide the election will vote FOR their candidate not for anybody but..

Dream on. No way the GOP takes Congress without the White House. And certainly not by the required two thirds of both houses.

If Obama wins reelection, look for a Democrat House and Senate. That's how elections work. The sheeple control elections, and they are way too simple to make the sort of fine distinctions you toy with.

This has got to be a wave election, with the top of the ticket on top and lots of coat-tail hangers, swept into power by a wave of popular revulsion at Obamunism. Anybody with other ideas is out of touch with reality and strictly counterproductive!

Foolish no.

We are all frogs in the liberal soup with the heat going up each day> The libs have won/are winning the narrative. They are now focused on pulling the well meaning conservatives into the idiot ABO strategy. ABO sells in conservative talk but it will not win this election.

Romney is a Trojan horse. Fighting Obama and his open agenda gives the Republic a chance. There is no chance with Romney and his do anything, say anything, agenda to get elected... there is no chance for the Republic under a Romney presidency none..

#6. Black voters have been bought off for decades with addicting welfare and the indoctrination of the Democratic Plantation Mentality of lies and deceipt.

Jewish Americans have deceived themselves into blindly supporting the Democrats. Remember FDR wouldn’t lift the Jewish immigration quotes to let European refugees in during the war (The St. Louis disaster). The use of the useful dupe Rabbi Stephen Wise to deflect from doing anything substantial.

Jimmy Carter!

The Clintons, then and now.

Obama: his anti-Israel advisors, his hidden support for Assad, his employment of anti-Israel and anti-US advisors, czars (reds, crazies and crooks). Napolitano! Salazar! Sebelius!. Van Jones! Anita (Mao) Dunn!

Need I say anything more?

This is one Jew who knows who the domestic enemy is and has been fighting against him and his marxist minions for years.

Obama rules by Executive Decree, Congress is irrelevant to him.

And as others have said, if Obama wins he may drag a Democratic Congress right along with him — thereby declaring he has a mandate for more first term fascism, free from any reelection concerns. And just think of the SC nominees in an Obama second term.

You’re both making the false presumption that I intend to sit out this election.

I don’t. Down ticket I intend to vote conservative, or at least as conservative as possible.

There is a reason CO went for Obama in 08, and that reason is Republican Governor Owen. Owen was someone quite to the right of Romney, none-the-less, his liberal tendencies completely destroyed the conservative Republican movement in CO. We have have a few unorganized pockets. That left the state wide open for any Liberal to take. And take they did.

It wasn’t pretty under Owens, it will be downright unbearably ugly under Romney.

I’m waiting to see who Romney thinks would make a good VP. Based on past experience, all the conservatives will be able to say will be ‘we’ll have to push them to the right’. Well, the time to ‘push to the right’ is BEFORE the VP is chosen.

I wonder how many of Obama's voters in 2008 even knew who the governor was. All they knew was, they were tired of Bush and they were not racist and Zero was their big chance to prove it.

My sister lives in the Springs. After the 2008 election, she emailed me extolling the idealism of her college age daughter getting out and voting for the Won.

These days, her emails are mostly a steady stream of forwarded, supposedly shocking brand-new anti-Obama screeds that are long since familiar to me.

That sort of was my point.

Owens turned the Republican party into a meaningless mush that no one gave two hoots about.
