Woman seriously injured in CO shooting miscarries

DENVER (AP) - A woman who was critically wounded in the Colorado theater shooting that left dead her 6-year-old daughter has suffered a miscarriage.

The family of Ashley Moser said in a statement Saturday that she is recovering from surgery but that the trauma caused the miscarriage.

Very sad, and one wonders what Holmes thought he was accomplishing when he killed little children and babies and injured mothers. Really the actions of a coward.

I am so sorry to hear this news I was hoping that somehow the baby would survive. I feel so bad for this family, losing 6 year old Veronica(her only daughter) and now this..absolutely tragic..my condolences to the Moser family

Yes, true - he may be truly mentally ill. In any case his actions really didn’t make sense so that is likely the case.

He wasn't thinking about others and that includes his own family. His due will come but this woman will spend her whole life grieving for her innocent children who she cherished and nourished inside her womb and outside. I cannot even image the grief.

I think,but am not sure,that individual states have different laws in a situation like this.Of course a lawyer would know more about it than do I...and perhaps more than you as well.
